with the new news that Brees is gonna be a FA and that Miami has strong interest in Bentley, and with FA starting next week. let's get our final projections in. I will start:

QB - Drew Brees
RB - Ronnie Brown

That's 4 Free Agent Signings that are starters or 2nd string maybe in David Givens. With the Cap we should have available, and if the CBA is done, I think that's very doable..

Manny Wright, Crowder, Poole, Daniels, Watkins, helps Saban begin the youth process he talked about on Defense. also, combined with Brown and a rookie LT, Hadnot and Carey, that gives us 9 Players that are 3 years in the league or younger.. slowly getting younger and better.. Make Haste Slowly..

That looks so good I'm salivating. Only a couple of changes I would make. I don't think Alabi is quite ready to start yet and I think we bring in a vet at LT. I also think we need to bring in another CB. Other than that, that starting lineup is a beautiful thing.

Believe like most that Drew Brees will be a PHIN -- UNLESS he wants too much money - more than 5 MIL per year [salary]

Would love to see Bentley - but Brees might price us out of him ... Mawae has 1 or 2 years left - and should be cheap.

Cutting McIntosh is a sure bet ... unless he'll play for around 1 MIL ... still need to upgrade regardless, and not sure Alabi is ready .... this is his shot though

Traylor is cheap and should be able to play 1 more year ... the only way he gets cut is if Saban believes that he won't last the year. Not sure about Thompson or Zgonina ... but regardless only see Zgonina OR Traylor - but not both -- with Vickerson and Wright on the roster !

Spragan is serviceable ... but we NEED another solid LB to improve the D ... not sure that Pope can play SAM, but WIL is a possibility [a la Derek Brooks]

Madison costs too much against the CAP to cut him ... Poole and Daniels will make for a solid nickel package .. Howard needs to be traded !

Safety is our most glaring deficiency ... need an impact Safety ... Schulters would be OK, if we can't get an upgrade AND IF he doesn't ask for a big contract ... regardless we need a SS ... Bell stays on but shouldn't be the starter.

Saturdays playing for LSU, and Sundays playing for the Fins.

Wow, you have us taking Greenway in the first, and picking up Sam Adams in free agency? Gutsy projections, and very interesting. I never really imagined that scenario. Personally, I have no problems with it, but I really hope we get Jason Allen in round 2 to play safety or CB
