May have been posted. Jason LaCanfora posted an article, all should read. Link is on my phone, I'm on desktop at work...CBSSports someone help me with the link.Or it's on my twitter timeline @slk018

Don't always agree with LaCanfora but it does make some sense. If that is truly the case, it would also make sense for Martin and Incognito to get together and work something out before both of their careers end up in the dumpster. Maybe that is why Incognito is in California. Who knows? I think most Fin fans would hope they work something out and get this the hell out of the media spotlight so everyone can just get back to playing football. Those two guys have to work it out cooperatively, because lawyers sure won't! They will see to it that it goes on for a very long time and drag everyone and everything through the mud.

Great article. Good to see some national guys finally take an honest look at this story.

If it turns out that Martin really didn't want to come forward, and his mom heard the messages and drove this entire thing, I fear Martin may commit suicide once he sees the chaos he brought on his teammates and they way he will be shunned by the football community going forward. Totally serious. Real sad story.

Not a huge LaCanfora fan, but this article is great and perfectly captures all the angles and complexity of this mess. The conclusion is simple, we may never know.

Good article. At least it is willing to cover some of the possibilities outside of the box. I really think that some of those points are really close to reality. A big misunderstanding that has snowballed because Martin failed to communicate what was bothering him and Richie failed to realize that he was off base dealing with Martin this way. Martin is not Pouncey or any other buddy that he can act this way around, and that is not Martin's fault. Who knows what would have happened it Martin opened up to Richie, Philbin, Ireland, Ross before this went down. Hopefully everyone can swallow their pride and realize taking this to the end won't be good for anyone. A heartfelt apology can go a long way.

Bottom line is Martin is not like most and he probably truly feels the way he feels, but if he can somehow understand that this was not meant to be harmful (assuming that it wasn't of course) maybe these two can both learn a lesson and move on. I am sure that it will bring awareness to players in the future on both sides and god forbid it never gets this way again.

Looks like he actually took some time to try and analyze the situation, as best as someone from the outside could.

This is the only article that has laid everything out there to ponder like alot of us on here already have.

I wonder why Incognito is in L.A.?

I bet he is trying to talk some sense into him.

Very good article....thanks for sharing! This addresses many topics that need further explanation.

I'm on the side that thinks this is a scam by Martin. It all adds up. Dude couldn't even make it to summer work outs, told Pouncey he wanted to quit, loses his esteemed left tackle position, and then figures out an ingenious plan to quit and get paid doing it.

Good article. One that finally has some insight and not the typical knee jerk reaction that has transpired from the media lately.

Tip: As a adult, you don't run to mommy about work place issues. And if you do, and she's a Harvard Lawyer....don't give her the material needed to bring a franchise to its knees.

Great read. He put a lot of thought into this.

So those who questioned me as to what makes me think mommy and daddy had anything to do with this will acknowledge I'm probably right now, right?
