After being a fan for over 36 years, I'm finally going to Miami. I'm coming down from Tennessee with three friends and curious if we can jump in on a tailgate for the Jets game on the 19th; maybe the18th. We'll gladly bring some "refreshments." We'll also have two days to check out some sights and food if anyone has suggestions.

I tell people to stay at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, Fl. It's minutes from the stadium and a great home base for your stay. You guys can gamble, eat, drink and whatever else you want to do. Billy's On The Bay has killer stone crabs for dinner one night unless you guys want to go to Joe's on South Beach. Joe's is more action but it's further than Billys from the Hard Rock but no big deal. Go to the Quarterdeck for lunch on a sunny day and see about 100 girls in bikinis from your table. Great views of the beach and ocean. Now when I come to Nashville who's giving me the inside stuff??

Good for you man. Gotta spend a little time in Miami Beach if you haven't been to town. Start far south on Government Cut at Smith & Wollenskys. Watch the people and the cruise ships literally coast by the tables while you enjoy Miami's signature c0cktail - mojito. Then head over or walk over to Joe's Stone Crab Miami's most legendary restaurant still only open about half of the year. Grab another drink get yourself some stone crabs and some lyonnaise potatoes. Another must stop in Miami Beach is Fountainbleau the most legendary Miami Beach hotel you've seen in 100 movies and shows. If you haven't eaten yet go grab some polenta and braised short ribs in Scarpetta then go do the club thing at Liv (same property runs LIV at the stadium or did if it's not a thing anymore I don't know). Other must stops in the area are for cuban any of the La Carettas restaurants and Gigis on the intercoastal in Hollywood. A neat place that I know a lot of people have been to is in Dania Beach. It's called the Rustic Inn. Lot's of old Phins memory on the walls there and their universally famous garlic dungeness crabs. There's a Twin Peaks not far from the stadium to head to after the game. Enjoy.

I booked a Vrbo in Miramar, so 10 minutes from the stadium. Joe's is definitely going to be dinner Friday night. I don't get to downtown Nashville much, but I know plenty of people that do, I would absolutely give you some spots.

I’m a big fan of Ole Reds on Broadway

Wouldn't say Miramar is 10 min from stadium but you are close.

I'd say book in Aventura and you'd be close to stadium and beach. You'd be just a short drive down Ives Dairy Rd to stadium.
