Finally making it to Florida!

After 18 years as a Finfan here in Maryland I am finally taking my first trip to Florida. :shakeno: And to top the trip off I'll be attending the November 6th game vs the Falcons. :D I guess all I can say is it's at least 19 years overdue! :goof: :confused: And boy am I excited! Come on November!

Im from Delaware and made that trip 2 years ago for the first time in about 20 years as a fin fan. Went to the Dolphins Eagles monday nighter. YOu will thorougly enjoy yourself.

Man I'm trying to figure every way possible of getting there too see a game. Just dont think its going to happen this year. :fire: I just have to wait until we play the colts again.

You will love it. I found that it was very much like Giant's stadium (but the walk ways were open and the weather of course).

I always went in Dec, something about sitting and watching a game in 80 degree weather, with girls in tank tops, really appeals to me, when I know I would be home shoveling snow!

I going to do and see as much as I can! Sad thing is it's going to be a really short trip. Coming in Thursday and leaving Monday! It's my fault for using so much vacation time on my vegas trip! :fire:

Primetime nationally televised game! Nice! Too bad we don't have one of those this year...I might have scheduled the trip around a sunday or monday nighter! :D

Finzmanic, I too will be going to my first game in Florida for the Falcons game also. Flying down with my son. An all boys weekend away from the wife and daughter. Can anybody tell me what airport is the best to fly into, Miami or Ft Lau. I'm trying to take my kid to the Keys to Dolphin Plus to actually go in the water with the dolphins. Should be awesome.

Good for you man - enjoy it. Hopefully you'll make out better than I did last season during my long-time-coming first trip to Dolphins Mecca. After toiling for years watching our team in places like Buffalo, New York, New England, Cleveland and Cinncinati, I'm rewarded with watching Jay Fiedler lateral the ball to the tackle to end the Jet game in week four, dropping us to 0-4.

Oh well, at least the weather - and scenery, of course - were nice.
