Now guys, I don't want to hurt our new QB's chances (possibly Matt Flynn?) with depending on Anthony Fasano.

Anthony Fasano IS NOT ENOUGH!

We need to bring another Tight End. I want the Dolphins to spend a 2nd rounder on a Tight End, and hopefully it's Coby Fleener from Stanford.

The Packers have like 2-3 decent TE's they use. TE's are REALLY important for a good offense, and Flynn is used to it already.

Any shot this happens? TE in 2nd? Then Fasano can be TE #2

If QB is not a possibility, then perhaps trade down for DeCastro and Fleener? I wouldn't be upset with that.

We still have Ireland and he will have no talent to coach...

Unless one of the premier playmakers (Blackmon, Claiborne) is still available, then I'd like to see us trade down a few spots and try and acquire another second rounder. Cincinnati is a potential trade partner. DeCastro may be a reach at number 8, but at the same time Dallas is in dire need of a guard and I think they would snag him before he fell to us if we traded down to 17 with the Bungles. We may consider trading back twice in order to stock up even more draft picks. I think Fleener is a must, he is a big athletic tight end who has great strength and shows great speed for his size. He is also a deep ball threat. He reminds me so much of Rob Gronkowski. I think he may creep into the first round after the combine and pro days, so we may have to reach a little for him. This is all hypothetical right now of course, and would depend on us picking up Matt Flynn as our guy at QB.

Now that's the FinHeaven attitude we know and love.

I too am very pleased for once as a dedicated Dolphins fan....

If we grab a Tight End early in the draft, I am going to be so happy.

no wonder why you wanted to retain Sparano.. the talent he had to work with let him down, eh?Go Tony!!!

Yeah, since you're not using your sarc on button, I'll assume you're being serious. I did not want to retain Sparano. He sucked, as does Ireland. They are both part of the problem, along with Ross.
