Finally...

na, i think everyone in the front office knew it was time for a new qb this year, no doubt about it...maybe fans had 20% to do with it but the front office knew they wanted to sign tannehill or they woiuldve sign matt flynn
 
If Ireland did not think he was a top ten he would not have drafted him...........simple.

Finally......something that makes sense for once. Hey a quarterback in the first round. We only needed one for the last ten years. I love the pic
 
The only thing "reach" about Tannehill is the fact that he switched positions and needs more time learning how to read Ds and play the position. That, however, is the only thing that moved him to number 8 -- with his talent and potential, if he'd have started another year of college ball, he's challenging Luck for the top spot. He's got more physical talent than Luck right now. If he develops, he's potentially a better QB to win games on talent alone than even Luck. NOT a game manager QB in the making, imo. So, give credit to the front office on rolling the dice on greatness. Good pick.
 
Well I don't know how good he will be but he had the hottest looking chick of all the players I saw at his table. That count's for something, right?
 
If you're going to draft someone in the top ten, he better be starting from day one!

Yeah great! Get some ballllls with a quarterback that has a year and a half at the position, will take at least 2 years to develop and then take him in number 8 over all when he shouldn't have been drafted until the 4th round. Nothing like setting the team back another 5 years. We can only hope Moore breaks out and we don't need to lean on Tannehill.
