Finheaven Draft Review is up on the front page!

Sorry if I'm being too realistic for you year after year. I'll try to better accommodate your unfounded optimism next time.
should I count you among the realists that voted C? or Gave the draft a D? Because honestly with 239 votes, chances are the A and B votes contain a lot of realists too.

Doesn't that happen every draft? People homering it up in the draft polls?

Then let's hear your reasoning as to why this was such a terrible draft.

I didn't say it was a terrible draft. I said it was a boom or bust draft, which can't even be argued. Tannehill is the definition of boom or bust. Vernon is the definition of boom or bust. Miller is boom or bust. Egnew is boom or bust. As a playmaker anyways. Everyone else just isn't any good. Except Martin who's the safest player we drafted. When you're giving bums like Kaddu and Randall B's, that's ridiculously optimistic.

So, just my friendly advice if you seriously have aspirations about being a writer. You won't get far with such biased opinion.

boom or bust draft? that's disingenus. EVERY draft is boom or bust. Players either succeed or they don't.

"Homering it up" Gotta love the "let's call 90+% of FinHeaven homers because they happen to think this was Jeff's best draft ever" argument! Yeah right. There's never been this much positive agreement during Ireland's tenure regarding the draft! There isn't anything wrong with giving the man credit where credit is due. Sometimes I just wonder if people just will never give him credit simply because it's Jeff Ireland!

Look, no one is saying it's a perfect draft, because quite frankly, what draft is? But you can't argue with the value we got especially late rounds and drafting for every need we had. That's why I'll never get why some people gave this draft D's or F's. Are you kidding me????

By boom or bust, I'm talking players with plenty of physical talent, but have a lot more developing to do, didn't get much playing time in college, and didn't produce as much as they should have in college. Tannehill, Vernon, and Miller are the definition of this. Even Egnew. He should be much more pf a playmaker than he is with his speed and athleticism. I actually like the draft, But an "A" is just too much imo. That's reserved for a team like the Colts who absolutely hit their first 5 picks out of the park. I give our draft a solid B-/C+ myself on paper. How this ends up is going to be solely on the coaching staff. It's either going to be a great draft, or an epic fail, and most of that rides on Tannehill.

It's splitting hairs tbh, but of course this draft relies on Tannehill being a success. if he doesn't then 3 years down the road we'll have to bypass another ****load of talent to draft another guy in the first. So the fate of this draft's success is completely on him. All the other guys can bust out and while it would suck, there is never more risk involved than taking a QB.
