FINHEAVEN has great impact on Phins Coaches

I dont think so

Lets just say that some of us arent stupid and can FORSEE signings and moves before they actually happen. I would like to think an NFL coach doesnt get advice from idiots saying "trady ricky for peyton" and "zach to SS".

Seriously dude, im scared because it sounds like you are dead serious. Nick Saban does not read this board and couldnt give a hoot what a bunch of kids think. He knows more about the game than any of us ever could.

For every GOOD move that someone on the board suggests, there are 20-25 HORRIBLE ideas that idiots actually think are good moves. :shakeno:

I commend the original posters optimism, ridiculous as it is. But Philter sums it up pretty well.

I would like to see more contructive criticisms to keep this board a hotbed for coaches and players.

Please refrain from posting stupidity about "starting Berlin", "releasing McMIchael because of one bad game", and bashing the QB's who have no time to throw.

Coach Saban goes to the VIP threads :goof:

I remember the guy who posted about Manuel Wright entering the supplemental draft, and quickly Saban got on it with his coaching staff..Results--We drafted him

Lance Schulter--Same thing...I can't even count how many posts we had about bringing Lance Schulters in.

We even pleaded for David Boston to be re-signed when he apparently almost became a 49er.

Now, I read some posts about the offensive line after the game saturday where some good posters who analyzed the game saw that the pressure (blitz) was coming 90% of the time from the right side (McDougle and Hadnot) while the left side (Carey, James) did their homework. Results: McDougle is benched and he was suppsoed to be a star player

I believe that Saban and his staff read this board very often and take our comments very seriously...This board has a major impact on decision making..He even benched McKinney and then realized that he had no better alternatives.

Hell, even agents (Tessler) want to plead their cases in here.

:rofl3: :rofl3:

Post of the YEAR!!!!

I think the more parsimonious explanation is that SOME people here are fairly good prognosticators and analysts of the team. Then when the move happens in real life, it makes it look like the coaches are consulting the site.

All of those comments you mentioned came up after hearing that our team was interested in those players to some degree I would have to imagine

Saban doesn't give a rat's a$$ what us keyboard jockies think is best for the team. He'll do what he thinks is right, and that's it.

if saban was on here last nite then he would have laughed at all the QB talk...

Darian Durant, Adrian McPherson, Billy Volek, Philip Rivers, Tim Couch...

I think you have got it backwards. The tail does not wag the dog.We have some very knowledgable members in here some of whom are football coaches or players or analysts and they point out what seems obvious to them .Its not a miracle that the Dolphin coaches come to the same conclusion.

Having said that I do think we have our share of Journalists and Media looking in.You can see them reflecting some of our opinions in their reports and its a great source for ideas.

at this point, it wouldn't hurt to start Berlin after Saturday's QB performance

If thats really the case, and that Fin coaches take into account what this board says, then IM REALLY SCARED of where your organization is headed.

Okay, the bottomline is, if you throw enough **** at the wall some of it is going to stick.

There are great ideas that come from this board, however, a majority are off the wall scenarios. The only coach that came here for advice----->he who shall not be named! and we know where he is now
