So WHY didn't we draft Adrian McPhearson then??????????

Some people crack me up!!!

Because the Saints took him before us in the 5th. :chuckle:

I remember the guy who posted about Manuel Wright entering the supplemental draft, and quickly Saban got on it with his coaching staff..Results--We drafted him

Lance Schulter--Same thing...I can't even count how many posts we had about bringing Lance Schulters in.

We even pleaded for David Boston to be re-signed when he apparently almost became a 49er.

Now, I read some posts about the offensive line after the game saturday where some good posters who analyzed the game saw that the pressure (blitz) was coming 90% of the time from the right side (McDougle and Hadnot) while the left side (Carey, James) did their homework. Results: McDougle is benched and he was suppsoed to be a star player

I believe that Saban and his staff read this board very often and take our comments very seriously...This board has a major impact on decision making..He even benched McKinney and then realized that he had no better alternatives.

Hell, even agents (Tessler) want to plead their cases in here.

I would like to see more contructive criticisms to keep this board a hotbed for coaches and players.

Please refrain from posting stupidity about "starting Berlin", "releasing McMIchael because of one bad game", and bashing the QB's who have no time to throw.

You are dreaming. I think professional coaches are pretty confident in their abilities to make therir own decisions. Fans who have only part of the info cannot be as savvy as insiders.

It is just a case of people having opinions and some of it happens. Ex: I'm sure some people said we are better off without Boston/ Ricky, but Saban did what HE thought was best.
If the fans have opposing views on any given subject, some of them are bound to happen. Has to be one or the other.

Also, many people have probably voiced their desire to go after many players, but it's not like Saban is going after all of them. Many of our discussions never come to be reality.

Did I mention you are dreaming? Do you play backyard football? Maybe you got sacked too hard.

Do you know just how much time professional coaching takes up?

I don't think they even have the time to look on here.

Players, yeah I think that they probably do check this, and I feel pretty positive that agents scan these boards. It gives them more ammunition when they want to start scandals...

Does anyone else think that it was that weasel, Rosenhaus that leaked the story about the dancer???

How many posts are there about getting McKinney out of the O line?!? Hope someone takes notice of this. Hadnot to Centre. PLEEEASE.

I dont think so

Lets just say that some of us arent stupid and can FORSEE signings and moves before they actually happen. I would like to think an NFL coach doesnt get advice from idiots saying "trady ricky for peyton" and "zach to SS".

Seriously dude, im scared because it sounds like you are dead serious. Nick Saban does not read this board and couldnt give a hoot what a bunch of kids think. He knows more about the game than any of us ever could.

For every GOOD move that someone on the board suggests, there are 20-25 HORRIBLE ideas that idiots actually think are good moves. :shakeno:

:yeahthat:

Not in a million years is a coach going to take anything from a fan website. We're fans. We don't know a damn thing. We all like to think we do, but the truth is that we don't.

I think it is possible that they visit this site........and laugh their a$$e$$ off at some of our suggestions!!!!

Speak for yourself, pal.

I really think the coaching staff has very little time for fan suggestions about player moves on the team. Now with that said I doubt that this board is completely ignored by the Dolphins organization. Their marketing staff I'm sure follows this board very closely to gauge the pulse of the fanbase.
