Finheaven is growing by leaps and bounds. There a a lot of great projects on the horizon and we will soon be making a MAJOR upgrade in our hardware (more on that later)

As a result of our growth, we find ourselves in need of a server guru. Specifically, we need someone who is very knowledgeable in Linux in a server environment, SQL and PHP scripting.

If there any among you who can fill that position, please let us know.
 
Curious, is this a paid position or could there be a stipend? I have an excellent guy in mind but may need a bit of dosh to help him out. BTW not insulted if it isn't just thought I had to ask.
 
as are all finheaven positions its is not.. we also are looking for a member we can trust, hence, we posting in Premium forum about it.

Ok, that is what I thought. One of my colleagues is a guru at all three of those requirements that is why I asked.

In my case I can sell the services but maintaining them I am a computer :goof: too! Just an MCP for XP is all.
 
Unfortunately, I'm a windows guy. I haven't messed with Linux since it first came out. I haven't messed with PHP either, but I haven't met a programming/scripting language that I couldn't master pretty easily. I've worked wtih SQL databases for about 15 years.

I would be happy to help out if needed with SQL or PHP, but can't promise a whole lot of time because I'm just starting up a huge project at work with a very aggressive schedule.
 
It is not a paid position at any level. It is volunteer as we all are. Probably means it needs to be someone who will do it for the love of this site, as we all do.
 
Hey no problem guys! You do so many valuable things for this place. You are amoung our elite and best. We will keep plugging away and find someone who can help us.
 
Well I am an old Mainframer so I doubt that I could be of any technological help with what you need... But if there is anything else that I can assist with, please feel free to let me know. I am willing to do anything to support the site!!!
