FinHeaven Tailgate

I would love to do it but I would need to figure out the air fare for 2 people from Canton to Miami and what it would cost to get from the airport to the hotel, If anybody could let me know any info on that. So I can talk my wife into it.

I'm looking into a FinHeaven member's package for hotel. If we're all at the same hotel, I can try and find transportation to and from. We'll see.

Both of FinHeaven's great columnists won't be available? Outrage!

Tell me about it. However, I think you can pencil me in for the 2006 tailgate, if the warden...er, wife, agrees to give me a weekend pass.

 Alrighty...

Tell her it's the rematch of the century with Patrick Surtain... yea, that will get her..

I wish I could be there AJ but it's not going to be possible :(

I'll do anything i can to help AJ....sounds like a good time to me...I'm there, if this thing takes off....

Awesome. I'm awaiting a phone call back from the ticket office so I can order.

Now the question comes in - go with 25 or 50? No matter what, the tickets could be sold without any problems. It's just a matter if they are FinHeaven members or not.

Do we have to ride the bus?
No. We don't have to ride the buss.

Alright guys - I just bought 25 tickets to the Kansas City game on 10/23. We have the option to buy 25 more, if need be. I would have done it if I didn't have to pay all up front.

After talking with George (Muck) and the ticket people I bought section 401... west endzone. The only thing available was corner seats or east endzone. Perhaps George can describe this section better... but, he said that this endzone is great because it has the scoreboards, lights, etc... which help block out the brutal 1pm sun around 2:30 or something. I donno...

In any case, it should be awesome. The only thing is this: we need to figure out what to do before the game. The only way the Dolphins handle to pregame stuff is if you pay them $50/person. Kinda steep. Although it does include all you can eat and open bar. You get to meet alumni, etc. I donno... no matter what, it's steep.

Recommendations are welcomed. It seems that meeting somewhere in the parking lot never works too well... so

Ok. I'm just thought of something genious. I've been thinking of things that raise the cost of this event. Why not just make use out of what's already available? Couldn't we just ask FinHeaven members to visit us at SportsTown... and me make up a small, portable banner that's visible? Everyone can find SportsTown... and it's fun too.

Duh. Thoughts?

I am in you can count on it. I am pretty sure Welderpat will be in too, because he is my brother and he lives not far away.

I am in for it all, night before party, day of party, breakfast, anything.

Let's make it a total bash!

You'll have $50 from me on Friday!

If that's ok

EDIT: I actually have a non-member or two who may be interested. Is that ok?

As long as they're Dolphin fans.

If anyone is interested in going, specify your t-shirt size at time of payment and I'll send you a brand new FinHeaven t-shirt. If you wear come by and see me at the SportsTown tent (for now) and show me... I'll put you in a raffle to win something. It will probably be a prize of no more than $80... perhaps an autographed photo or something
