We had one last year and I think we should have one again. We are gonna go through the first round and only one person can make a pick and once you made your pick, you can't pick anymore. You also got to explain why you picked that player. Now here we go......

With the 1st pick in the NFL draft, the Houston Texans select.....

Reggie Bush

With the Texans keeping Carr and Davis having injuries every year, the Texans wanted to add a big playmaker to team up with Davis, Carr and Johnson. He is the best guy at #1 and he will drive the DC's for the other teams nuts.

The Saints are on the clock.......

With The #2 Pick The New Orleans Saints Select

Matt Leinart

*Id say Vince Young but they just dropped another athletic QB Aaron Brooks and may go with the opposite approach*

Titans on the clock

With the #3 pick the Tennesse Titans select

Vince Young

There is no way he falls past #3. He puts a spark into any team he plays for. He's a great leader with a big arm and legs to match. A taller version of Michael Vick, and if he doesn't suceed as a QB he can convert to WR.

Jets Select

They got enough money rapped up on a QB, they need to try to protect him from now on. He will start right away and help ancor that line.

Niners select Mario Williams

Dude is just an absolute force to be reckoned with. Great size, big body, long arms and a great ability to change the play. The Niners don't have a great defensive line and run a hazy 3-4. Williams will fit perfectly.

I guess Al Davis was sleeping...you skipped the Raiders.

Nah, we assume the Raiders lost the coin toss:D ....so with #7 pick in the 2006 NFL draft, The Oakland Raiders select Vernon Davis TE Maryland

Al Davis loves this hybrid type TE/WR and picks offense even though D may be a smarter choice.

Buffalo Bills are on the clock.......

With the 8 pick in the draft the Buffalo Bills select Haloti Ngata DT Oregon.
They need someone to help in the middle and this would be a great pick up for them.

with the 9th pick of the 2006 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions select:

Michael Huff, S, Texas

an excellent playmaker in the mold of ed reed and troy polamalu. matt millen gets praised for once...

With the 10th pick.....

The Arizona Cardinals select.....

DeAngelo Williams

Franchise back to compliment Boldin and Fitzgerald

With the 11th pick the Rams select Chad Greenway-LB Iowa

This guy has all the skills to be a sideline to sideline tackler and can rush the passer.

with the number twelve pick in the 2006 draft the cleveland browns pick

Penn St. DE Tamba Hali, the reason i say Cleveland makes this pick is because at 6'3" and 267 lbs. Hali is the prototypical size of a 3-4 type linebacker which is the system crenell is trying to install in cleveland. He also is one of these guys that has a non stop motor and has some experience with dropping back into coverage.

Baltimore is now on the clock

With the thirteenth pick in the 2006 NFL draft the Baltimore Ravens Select...

Lendale White RB USC

With Jamaal Lewis' apparent fall off the edge of the earth, the Ravens can use a between the tackles power running back. White fits this description to a tee.
