We can convince ourselves of that but we all know Ross wants manning just probably cant seal the deal if he gets away
 
FinHeaven will descend into nothing more than a sea of Tebowism, where a new thread will pop up every ten minutes about somebody arguing their case for bringing in Tebow to start for Miami, with each thread pushing us all closer and closer to breaking point

I agree it will be extremely difficult for him and his family. Sad really because he's only doing what he thinks is best for his career and his family but you know South Florida will take it personal. If he rejects the dolphins I think it will be the last rejection that breaks the fanbase's backs...sort of speak. He will take the lash from the fanbase.
 
The phins sign Flynn to a deal and become a dynasty while Manning continues the streak of a QB never winning a Super Bowl with two teams.
 
we will sign matt flynn or draft tannehill and we win just enough games to be out of the barkley chase next year and finish 3rd or 4th in division. I have seen this movie before fellas, jay fielder aj feely. a back up has a good game and then we get him expecting him to be our starter only to figure out there was a reason he was a backup after all
 
If Peyton doesn't sign with Miami..... it won't be the end of the world. We still have a decent starter and/or excellent backup in Matt Moore. If I were the Phins I would try and bring in Vince Young, Dennis Dixon, Alex Smith, or Jason Campbell to compete with Moore for the starter/backup position. I would then draft Weeden to also compete for the starter/backup position. A QB trio of Moore, Weeden, and either Young, Dixon, Smith or Campbell would be better than we've had in a long time.

While I would love to believe otherwise, I think Ross hasn't earned one bit of applause for his previous free agent chases. You're probably right.

I would love if they were after Flynn this whole time though. Would mean the QB decision was calculated and above all INFORMED.
 
the sun will still rise tomorrow, Miami will still have Marshall and Bess at WR and Bush at running back, and the season will still happen.
 
My girlfriend will stop asking me why I keep waking up early and checking finheaven for Manning news. And I will be getting more sleep!
 
we just need to calm down and pick a QB in the first round, if they strongly feel there's one worth it, else, try building around and maybe we can have a good enough year with moore... I would be more excited with manning, but i'm a dolphin, so whatever we do, i will still watch every game
