It looks like they finally got him. At least according to an entirely unreliable reporter the Heat have agreed to a 3 yr deal worth the max the MLE can offer.

PG - ???
SG - Walsh
SF - Finley
PF - Walker
C - Zo

Get a decent backup point and that team could make the playoffs in the east :)
 
It's pretty insane that our second team could probably take most other teams down isn't it? At least if the dolphins aren't great this year I'll have the heat to take the sting off. Whether we actually got him or not, this is definitely a championship team.

And maybe the Nets should fire Dr. Doom and get someone who won't sabotage every pick up they try to make ;)

I think the Nets made a big mistake w/ Rahim but they have been burned repeatedly by giving out long term deals to guys who couldn't fulfill them so I can see where they are coming from.
 
Talk about the rich getting richer...looks like another Spurs/Heat finals in 2006....I think these two teams are pretty evenly matched though.

They have had one team worthy of the finals...and they fell two minutes short...
