Finnegan displeased with Florio

I never liked Finnegan after seeing him get his ass handed to him by Andre Johnson, who was tired of his cheap shots. I really hope the young corners like Taylor and David show something so we can cut this P.O.S.
 
Talk is cheap, Finnegan needs to concentrate on getting back to 3 yr ago form and stop giving the tough guy act to a 5 foot reporter......
 
Im glad he did that you can't say stuff then hide behind it. Man up and say it when you are confronted on it reminds me a lot of the Kevin Burnett situation with Omar LOL
 
Yea Finnagan it wasn't your bad play on the field over the past two years it was the media. Just seems like another guy who cant take responsibility for his own play and has to blame it on something else

Hey you gotta give credit where due! For a parasitic failed ambulance chaser, Florio was able to parlay his blog hobby of passing on unsubstantiated, spurious and sometimes reputation-damaging drivel as "rumors" into a semi-legitmate corporate sanctioned platform to bloviate on his worthless opinions to a more receptive larger audience. So more power to that assclown for creating a career out of being a mean-spirited fanboi yenta.

As someone in the journalism industry, Florio doesn't seem to do his job particularly well and does it in a pretty annoying fashion.

Not saying I agree with his approach, because I don't, but Finnegan got exactly what he wanted out the Andre Johnson situation. Caused Johnson to lose his cool.

In regard to Florio, he better embodies the stereotype of the weasel journalist than any prominent figure covering the NFL. If you had an issue with one particular boss, said so, and then someone reported that you were basically bashing an entire organization, would you be happy? Then Florio goes into his "How can I get the whole story if Finnegan doesn't want me to call him?" bit. Maybe not transparent enough for the common idiot, but still pretty transparent.

I do think Finnegan is the type of character we don't need to try to build a winning team on. But Florio is acting beyond ridiculous now. If he thinks he is being threatened, he should report it through the appropriate legal channels. If not, there's no story. So why print this garbage? Just to try to tear Finnegan down because he has it in for him? I think he is borderline abusing his position as a reporter.
 
About as much as mini-camps and OTAs count in general (very little)

then why do teams CONTINUE to have them GONZO?

i keep seeing people say this over and over. it is not mandatory from the nfl. if a team came out and said we are not having any more ota's or mini camp, they wouldnt be fined or disbanded.

so, WHY do mini camp and ota's not count for anything? why do they continue to have them?
 
Florio is a grade-A muck raker but Finnegan, come on.

Why does this team keep signing morons?
