Finnegan seems very determined

Talk is cheap. Check out his stats the last 2 years. He can't play anymore. HORRIBLE SIGNING

Alternating between outside and the slot. Finnegan struggled mightily, especially in 2013, when he played through injuries. Last season, he allowed a 136.0 quarterback rating when covering outside on 199 targets, giving up 26 catches for 353 yards and four touchdowns in 34 targets. In the slot, he allowed a 131.9 rating on 24 targets, giving up 19 catches for 248 yards and three touchdowns. In both categories, he ranked among the bottom three cornerbacks in the league among players who had taken at least 25 percent of their team’s snaps. He wasn’t that much better in 2012, and at age 30, there may not be much left in the tank.

i agree. this is a "hope" signing for $11 million. at 30 they hope he can return to his prime. you don't build a perennial contender with moves like this.

If he can get back to anything close to his old self then I think we may have a little tandem on our hands.

I just do not know enough about the Rams scheme and his health to make the statements you are making. Let's see how he plays.

I love getting a player with a chip on his shoulder. Everyone keeps telling him he is too old and over the hill, he is the kind of guy that will work harder because of that and try and prove people wrong.

He is younger then Grimes. Do you guys realise that?

12' looks pretty damn good to me. Maybe you should've taken a look at his stats first...

Get on the field and stay healthy first. All that talk means nothing

He was hurt last year. Time to prove himself.

He wasn't hurt in 2012 and he sucked then too

Grimes coming off a Pro Bowl year

Finnegan hasn't been good since 2011

See the difference?

I did. they are bad. Just as the CNN/SI article states

I know a cornerback needs to tackle but I like my corners to Intercept footballs not hit guys. If he wants to hit guys he should be playing safety.

He doesn't know either, he just thinks he does.

Same exact thing with Grimes last year. Remind me, how did that turn out?

Let's keep in mind how many DB's have looked better in this scheme than they have in other defenses. Nolan Carroll went from a wasted pick to a guy everyone wanted to re-sign in half a season. If he doesn't succeed, he doesn't start. Depending on how the draft goes, maybe he's not on the roster opening day if he's not showing is something. But honestly, I think he will play very well for us as long as he's healthy. Our defensive scheme will give him every opportunity to shine.
