Finnegan signs with Miami

The guarantee is the only thing that matter.....

As long as that is in the 5 million or under range then it is a good signing...

With Delmas and now Finnegan....it looks like the Dolphins are trying to get some swagger in the defensive backfield...

after he signed with the Rams as a free agent for the 2012 season, he had arguably his best year. he played in all 16 games and he had: 101 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, 3 ints (one for a touchdown).

in 2013 he only played in parts of 7 games (he broke his leg in week 4, and had some other injuries).

we need him to be healthy and to play like he did the year before last!

You cant try to make sense of everything for some people regardless of what you try to tell them they will ignore the facts.

Coutland has no off the field issues at all. He is a stand up guy and a MODEL CITIZEN if I ever met one.
Last year he had a bad year casue he was injured. Other than that they dude is 2 yars removed from being a top 3 corner. I like his toughness on the field. He brings something to the table. DID ANYBODY watch our corners last year just give up at times? Just not make attempts to make touchdown saving tackles. Are you guys serious not liking this signing????

ask omar are they giving him a starting job...ie the #2 corner job site unseen...cause otherwise he needs to shut it

Not really i'm pretty sure there is an out in the contract like every other contract we have signed.
 
What could they have offered DRC for that money? Wow.

and some serious risk potential also...and i dont mean cap wise...i mean on field play wise...and health wise
 
Peanut Tillman got 1yr 3.5mil. He prob gave the Bears a lil bit of a discount, but I like Tillman better then Finnegan

Depending on the contract I can almost guarantee he was brought in to start opposite Grimes... I just don't like the guy.
 
I'll reserve judgement on the contract until I see the structure. I'll say this though, if he is able to play at anywhere near the level of his Tennessee days we stole him. Quality starting corners are expensive.

i think tillman is about in the same boat as finnegan both these guys getting up there in age and play very physical games and it's taking it's toll but that money is more in line...they obviously have a roll written in pen for finnegan
