Finnegan signs with Miami

So we're giving him about 5.5 mill a year but we couldn't do that for the guard that went to Jacksonville?

****ing Omar is so bad. It is hilarious that this guy still has a job with the amount of people that refuse to read his stuff. The average salary for a starting CB might be 5.5M, but according to everything I've read about Finnegan, he's been well below average the last 2 seasons. I hope he steps it up man, we need people not getting roasted on that side of the field. Lets go Court, earn that money.
 
I can't say I am over-joyed with the Finnegan signing, but I am hopeful he can turn things around. Sometimes a new environment will do that for a guy looking to prove himself.


Oh, and sorry for being a little optimistic. It's THAT time of year with the draft and free agency going on, and all. :chuckle:
 
I live in Tennessee about 20 minutes from Titans Stadium. I've seen Courtland play A lot! He is a bad dude.. He's proven it minus 1 injury plagued year with the Rams. I truly believe in this guy, been a Dolphin Fan my entire life and am so sick of mediocrity. We just added a great player to this Team. Some people didn't like the Grimes signing either until he proved himself.

Definitely...but after seeing almost no emotion or fight from any of the DB's outside of Grimes...I'll welcome a little attitude...(if they stay healthy)

Omar had a good point. When the Starks deal was initially announced it was 2 years 12 million, but we later found out that was dependent on incentives.

rotoworld is saying we've been had. This guy took Hickey to the laundry and other players should be contacting him to be their agent. I'm sorry but I really don't get this one. We could have given that money to Beadles(SP?).......for that kind of money he needs to play like an all pro.

I think the 11 million is max value. if he hits incentives etc. If he earns all 11 million that means he played great. Not thrilled but oh well
