let me start by saying im NOT one of the few ppl that are optomistic on the board. I think our team blows, and it disgusts me. BUT, with everyone in the media blowing up on how bad the Fins are, and that theyre one of the wosrt teams in the league(which they are), i think the line is begging for NE backers. With that said, i think Fins cover the 10 football points, but still lose. It doesnt make sense, but im lookin at it from a gamblers perspective, not a fans. I know this isnt a popular pick, but thats why i love it. Thoughts?

You said exactly what I have been saying all week, this is a perect gamblers' game. New England is coming off the routing of Cincy, and Miami is coming off the terrible loss to Houston, it is at New England, and Miami will be fired up and pissed looking for blood. New England will overlook this game just like Cincy did looking toward the buy week.

This is an upset special, I like Miami to win this game.

plus we always give the pats a run every year no matter how bad we were, like the 4-12 season when we beat them

IF we win this game i could see it being a possible catapult to get confidence and energy going into this team

Exactly.

i know one thing. if this teams doesnt plan on rolling over and dying, they better kick out this week, or else we are down for the count. well find out what the team is made of one way or another

After watching our poor performace last week...and watching the Pats last week.....I think 10 points is not enough. If the Pats cant beat us by 14 points in their own house then they should be ashamed. We are really that bad....:tantrum:

Having said that....this team should turn around sometime....why in the hell not now! We do seem to get in Brady's head...strange but true.

You're being generous.

I'l be rooting for the 'Fins - with my wife by my side bashing us... but I'll be picking the Patsies in my office pool.

i agree we probably cant win i cant belive we even beat the titans we should be 0-4 i'm sorry i realize last year we took everyone by storm and teams really couldnt game plan agianst us as well as they can now and it all comes out boy i hope within 2 years saban will have his whole team set to his liking but hopefully without c-pep i never saw him as a guy to lead he seems to me like a guy who is just there and cant win he has won what 6 of his last 21 games and overall his winning pct is terrible at least marino won games not lost them with no talent. c-pep has great talent but sorry o-line but he holds on to the ball to long. what i'm trying to say fix qb fix o-line cause both have played sorry i mean daunte has improved but i cant see him leading us to a sb any time soon he is 30 keep him draft a qb and PAY SOMEBODY for once a difference maker who is "YOUNG" instead of trying to get all these cheap bargain players or old has beens although i bet seau would have been much better to the d than spragan thats for sure

well i'll tell you what i can't describe how many ways or how badly we will get beat in this one
not looking forward to this loss
because new england is a much better team than us, even buffalo is a better team than we are

I am up $500.00 this year betting against the fins and I don't see a reason to change that now. I see 10 points as being extremely low. With the way the pats d-line is playing we will have NO running game and the pats now have a reciever in Gabriel and a running game that is the best it has been since Brady has been there. The pats are very consistant on offense, which means we will be behind very early and HAVE to pass against a defense that is very smart and able to put a lot of pressure on a passer. Much more than what Houston or Tenn was able to do. I say after the first 5-7 sacks which should come in the first quarter, Danute begins to just throw the ball up again which should equal several picks.
If Brady is off and we get some fumbles early maybe we can stay within 10 til half, but you got to remember we are the only team in the league that can win the turnover battle and still lose the game vs the worst teams in the league. So to say even turnovers can make a difference is just talking crazy.

We're toast against NE, we lose by 24 or worse. Sorry, just being realistic. We don't even belong on the same field with the Pats. We just plain suck and JT is right; we ARE the worst team in football right now.

new england is well coached it's why they are so good we have good players or do we ? it's either the players or the coaching someone's accountable

This one's going to be ugly. NE actually has a good defense.

I think it's 60% the players, just my opinion though. Nick needs more young guys that aren't tainted from years of doing things a different way.
