Fins 2008 Draft Picks (with Pats losing their 1st and 2nd round)

Since the Pats lost their 1st and 2nd rounders respectively, what does this mean? Do we get the 31st pick of the 1st and 2nd round now or what? This has been puzzling me and if it works out with more picks for us we should fill in several positions with YOUTH!

What is the deal going on with this situation?

They just lost their first rounder, not the second rounder. In functionality, yes, we will pick 32nd.

If you're asking if those picks are given to us, no that will not be the case, they will just be foreited and not used at all...

I guess technically we have the last pick in the first round as well since the Pats lost theirs, but it will be like the 2nd round first pick type of thing...

no it was 1st if made playoffs and 2 and 3rd if didnt make playoffs. im positive

It was their first round draft pick given that he was later than some position. Of the top of my head I think it was 15th. And if they ended up with a pick before the certain position they would give up their 2nd and 3rd rounders instead of they very high first round pick.

we got NE 2nd for welker but if you talking bout when they got there 1 st taken away for cheating it was a 1st round pick and fined thats it
