The Miami Dolphins are shopping for a star wide receiver. If the Buffalo Bills can't figure out how to deliver the ball to Lee Evans, maybe they should consider trading him for a plum draft pick

Don't know how much credence to put to this, but its the first I've heard that the team is actually shopping for a WR. Its from a buffalo newspaper. Don't like the idea of Lee Evans, but its interesting that they might actually be looking.

We shouldn't give up more than a 4th for evans. He has talent but is inconsistent and lord knows we have had enough of that around here.

I would wait and bring in Adarius Bowman in for a visit before spending a draft pick for a player that may not be that good. I would trade Ricky and our 1 st rd in 2010 for Boldin if it could be pulled off which it is more unlikey then going undeafted next year.

Sounds like a good deal, but why would anyone make that trade knowing Ricky has said he wants to retire after 2010?

From what I hear the '10 draft is supposed to be full of recievers. I don't know if that is true or not.

If it is, then I say just wait and draft a stud. with our running game as strong as it is, we may be able to get away with what we have and who knows... perhaps Ginn will become the #1 he should be.

evans would be nice.. alot better then edwards.. i would give a 3rd that could turn into a 2nd for him.. evans, ginn, bess would sound real nice :)

I was thinking about Lee Evans today. The Bills seriously need to clean house, Evans would be nice. He can't be happy in Buffalo. And I can't believe they have talented WRs. I'd like Boldin more, he doesn't like being in AZ. However I think we'll wait until the offseason.

1st of all how in the heck did you happen to come across a story on page 2 of the Democrat and Chronicle? Anyway this is just some mussing by a small time reporter. Here watch this....

"Dolphins should consider trading Ronnie Brown to the Colts for a punter and half a ham sandwich"

Now someone from the Colts fan site can start a thread based on that statement and add a link to this page.

we need to trade for dwayne Bowe

Bingo! Dwayne Bowe:woot:

I think we very well might be in the market for a WR if the Trio is trying to move Ginn b4 the deadline. Ginn is just too soft for this regime.

The Trio has talked about "tough" (and smart) players being the type of guys they would want to bring in from day 1. Ginn is the antithesis of tough. He never blocks on run plays and never fights for a ball and rarely fights to get off the jam. He is a creampuff.

If we could trade Ginn for Bowe straight up, I'd be elated. If we had to throw in an extra late pick or even a player (maybe Matt Roth), I'd still be happy to land Bowe.

If we traded Ginn straight-up for Evans, I'd also think we got the better end of the deal. Lee Evans at least plays a tougher game than Ginn. And maybe Evans hasn't been able to show his full capabilities b/c of how bad BUF usually is. Evans did get deep often when Losman was their QB.

Other than those options, I'd trade Ginn for a 2nd round pick or maybe two 3rd rounders (from a team likely to be drafting at the top of the round) b/c I frankly don't even think Ginn should be starting - not even with our WR core.

Lots of talent will be available in the 2nd round next year......I hope we use our 1st on an ILB or stud NT......

I think we missed our window with Boldin (like twice now). He will soon be getting a little long in the tooth.

Lee Evans would be a decent option.

I know Josh Cribbs is trying to get out of CLE and I could see a Cribbs-for-Ginn deal being about fair value (unfortunately for us) if we were just looking for an upgrade in the return game but Cribbs certainly wouldn't offer us much for a #1 WR.

Trade Ginn for him and save the pick/picks.

Evans, Bess, Camarillo, Hartline, Turner plus keeping our 2010 picks sounds even better.
