They seem to be really on the look out for someone to compete with Misi. I like the idea of adding Groves I know he's struggled but living in Alabama I remember watching him dominate at Auburn (not an Auburn fan though)so maybe in the right system he can produce. Don't know much about Goff but I thought I remember hearing he was solid.
 
I used to live in jersey ad my whole family is Giants fans and let me tell you Goff is nothing to write home about. Hes strictly a run defender and hes not even great at that our best options here are either guyton or groves. I feel that groves would fit the hybrid D more becasue he can line up at OLB or at DE where guyton is more of just a cover LB.
 
None of these guys are much to write home about. Groves is a pass rusher that cant find the qb lol. Keil has been in the league 4 years and started 5 games 15 tackles last year . Goff has been ok but the Giants dont really want to keep him but would be first full time starter we signed this off season and guyton is an ok player but be wary of people like this that BB doenst keep and he lost alot of playing time last year. These are not acorns these are unshelled nuts that nobody is too fond of
 
I'd be ok with signing Guyton and Groves to compete for a spot. Not interested in the other two.

What is there positive to say about any of these guys. Hell you must have won the lottery this year because I praised the philbin hire and the sparano fire. So congrats
 
I think Groves is an area of need so that maybe the focus. Groves is the closest to replacing MISIs old position.

Groves just doesnt seem to be very good two teams have dumped him already. Jville needed him and he was awful. He may improve but he really hasnt done anything to make me think he will

I think Goff and Guyton are decent prospects. Guyton in coverage and Goff as an inside backer. He was injured last year, but was in the plans for the G-men.
 
I have to admit that I was wrong about Groves coming out of Auburn. I liked him. I remember Goff coming out of Vandy, I believe. Goff is slow with stiff hips, but he is ok against the run.
