I live in Jersey and have tickets to this game....should I still come down? I am suppose to leave in a week. My cousin lives in West Palm Beach which is a mess...and the hotel we are suppose to stay at in Miami I called today and is fully operational. Thoughts? I was suppose to be in NO for the Saints/Fins game this weekend and we all know what happened there. Glad to hear people are ok. Just wanted some insight on which way to go.

The area should be livable by then. Most people will have power by 11-5-2005, 95% will have power by 11-15-2005. The airports are already coming back up. If the hotel is fully functional, then i would just call the Fins and make sure the stadium is good. As people get more power they will require less gas= less wait....etc. We have supplies, but we don't have the electricity to use them. i would wait till monday perhaps...
