Fins fans from other countries....

hey im from australia. the sport isnt very well known over here as we have our own rendition of football that everyone in Australia loves. however i love both sports and to end: GO DOLPHINS!!!

Great reading about so many foreign fans here. Myself, I live in Southern England. The game's a minority sport here but the fan base is knowledgable and enthusiastic. We play the game at an amateur level, which was largely started by US ex-pats who still play a part - but it's now mostly English folk. My local team has every chance of winning the championship this season so I'm really pumped for that.

I've subscribed to a service where I can get the whole series of Miami Dolphins games in full on DVD - which will be the first time ever. Shame I'm not more optomistic about what I am going to see!

Big shout to my Mexican friends here. I've been to Mexico 3 times and watched some NFL on TV from Cancun one year I recall. I have a great fascination for Mayan culture and snorkelling. Mexico rocks. Second only to Miami as a holiday destination for me. ;)
 
I`m over the pond on the south coast of England. I`ve been a Dolphins fan since `84. I`ve been over twice to see games, one of them was on Monday night against the Steelers. Marino was playing and I seem to remember some words were exchanged pre game with Greg Lloyd the Steelers linebacker. I think I`m right in saying that Lloyd hit Marino after he had stepped out of bounds? Miami won the game, can anyone tell me the score? There were a few fights in the stands that night, I thought us Brits were the only hooligans?!
 
Im from Glasgow , Scotland . Nice to find more UK based Fins fans on here.

NFL is alive and kicking up here with the Scottish Claymores being a huge part of it , Superbowl night in Glasgow will rival any party throughout the world. Even better since we get to drink beer for 12 hours before kickoff :D
 
Hey guys, nice to see some UK dolphin fans!..I hope to get to a Calymore game next season. Been a huge dolphin fan since 1986 and got to see them at Wembley in 88...still love watching David Archer fake out the entire 49ers D! ... Wembley was great for NFL games..especially the Monarchs first season!

Hey Gaz, are they reliable? Looks a great deal and would be fantastic to see all the games.

Dolphins have always been one of the better supported teams in the UK, mainly stems from the TV starting coverage in the mid-80s with Marino and the Marks in full swing.

Also like to say that we're thinking of you all over in Florida at the moment, good luck.

I'm assuming you're talking about AFL so I have to say "I wouldn't say everyone"...lol:lol: ...you musn't be from Sydney...lol :D

Also you guys might be pleasantly surprised to know that American football has grown quite a lot in the last few years down under...I don't now about the other states but in NSW you have to pay to see teams play now :eek:. Given it's only a couple of bucks and not really worth it, but it's still fun to watch..lol :lol:

Actually where I live in St. Catharines near Niagara Falls the Bills are perty big, but I cast the demons on Bills Fans and wish them a scrotum infection of fleas of a thousand camels from Afghanistan! :evil:
