Forget backups (although we should all feel pretty good about QB depth after last night). Who won the starters battle?
I thought we did much better in the trenches. Some decent pressure. Better against the run than last year.
QB: No score draw. Feeley got some heat and Rex gets a mulligan for first game back in a year and third O in three years. Neither looked awful but you'll have to see more of them to judge.
WRs: Us. Marginally. Nobody set the world on fire.
RB: Thomas Jones hopefully made Ced Benson rethink his hold-out. You guys didn't get a lot going.
DBs: Other than Mike Brown making a couple of nice tackles I didn't notice anyone on either team doing that much.
I think Da Bears had the better showing from their starters. What do you guys think? And, no, I'm not trolling.
