Today was a tough loss. However we played pretty terrible and were stll in the game, against a superbowl contender. If we were on our game, it's a win. My point here is that obviously Gus is not the answer and Saban/Mueller will bring in at least one capable starter this offseason. Mueller had Bulger, Delhomme and Brooks all on the same roster in New Orleans and obviously prefers depth at the position. With another solid draft(3 rookie starters this yr+a promising Roth) there is no reason we cant be a contender next year. Although it is another loss, I still feel like were moving in the right direction and thought I would share some OPTIMISM.

I totally agree with you. These season will have more then it's fair share if defeats but looking ahead we have a lot of posatives to look foward to. I'm still hoping we can do some damage this year and starting showing teams that we are not push-overs. Atlest we have the ability to get out of the hole of a bad season. Lots of teams seem to fall in and take years to get of it. I want the best this year but I also like seeing the worst so we can learn from it. :pope:

i think the only key diff. this year is our Running game and the great addition of R brown and our off line is much bettter.

i think we wil bring in a nice qb no more crap players maybe if we are lucky like culpepper:) or someone
