Fins give thought to Zach Wiegert as a Stop Gap

I know, wasnt he with Houston. I know Lehr was liked very much in ATL, fans say he was a revolving door.

I was surprised to read that the Fins aren't too high on Brown. I guess we won't be drafting him? Not too excited about Weigert, but a body is a body I guess. Would be nice to get Staley in the 2nd.

At this point I would like to see us re-sign Jacox and Fonoti. I know we are trying to get younger, but Im crapping my pants about this O-line. I also realize we are doing the right thing by not over paying for mediocre linemen. I seriously hope we dont get Lehr.

I'm going to trust the judgement of our coaches and scouts when it comes to Lehr, rather than some fans on the Falcons MB. If Houck, etc, think Lehr is a worthwhile signing, then so do I until he proves otherwise.

True, but they got a massive hate on for Lehr and Gandy over there. Lehr is their Chris Chambers.

As for Wiegert that says more to me that they believe in Alabi or are drafting a LT more then anything and Weigart is more of a stopgap/emergency backup more then anything.

Who really knows if we like Brown, we would be stupid to be raving about him.

I agree, why tell the world about our plans? Patience is what we need. RandyCam will get us some good players that will improve our line soon. Let's give them some time.

Landry in the 9 spot is way better value then Brown. He might be the second best LT in the draft, but that doesn't mean his value is that high. Picking for need is not a good thing unless your need is also rated that high on your draft board. That and somebody that picks after us might actually need Landry, which leaves possibilities open for trades.

I seriouslu doubt that we don't make a move either up or down in the 1st round, if we want Quinn we need to trade up. if we want Levi Brown we better trade down a few. #9 is a reach for him after his bad workout. if we do sit at #9 we have to go defense really, no good value on offense will be there at #9.
