Fins have yet to express interest in flynn

Flynn = Kolb. I just don't see how they can invest that much money in a guy who hasn't fully proven anything. While getting Peyton is a nice short term solution I'd love to see them invest at some point in the future. Someone who'll be the qb her for years to come. The thought though of Peyton and Wayne coming here would instantly shift this offense into high gear and allow them to draft some solid defensive players to fill that void now. They still need to address the right side of the line though so Manning doesn't get his neck broken again!

So Jason Cole just confirmed that the Dolphins have not violated the tampering rule by not contacting Matt Flynn before free agancy starts. I would be curious to hear from Mr. Cole, all the teams that have expressed interest in Flynn before free agancy starts.

we better hope they don't contact him street FA starts also!

I agree with what others have pointed out. The FO can't contact or publicly express interest in someone before he becomes a F/A. Call tampering. The FO hasn't publically stated they want Manning either, it's been the press and the fans doing the talking. Another case of some hack reporter not knowing what he is talking about, but just throwing crap at the wall hoping something sticks. Makes for good drama in the press and anyone who doesn't have a clue believes this garbage. Regardless of what happens, I'll be glad when it's all over, as I'm sick of the drama queen press people who are hyping everything to the nth degree.

Useless article....We can not express interest in him until the 13th....If we lose out on Manning(which im guessing we will because this team tends to break my heart) then we will for sure be in on Flynn

It would be tampering, unless Cole was referencing the same type of "unofficial" sources that let it be known that Ross has been eager to sign Manning. But even if he is, there have been a few rumors floating about that Flynn has been Plan B from much the same "Unofficial" sources, so one way or another he's probably off base here.

That's good cause Flynn has not shown that he's better than Henne anyways.

In his 1st career start, he had a better game than Henne ever has, in his 2nd game............. see where i'm going ? Henne has not shown that he is as good as Matt Flynn.

dude im no henne fan, but really, in his first start, a start where he threw for under 300 yds, got sacked 5-6 times, threw an int, and they lost that was better than any game henne had?

again, im no henne fan, and henne isnt good, but really? if you want to say in his 2nd career start which took place a year plus later, than ya, but his 1st career start was nothing to write home about.

bottom line. henne and flynn both r not the answer, its manning or bust.
