OK I'm back with my second last preview thread before the game. I will compare The defenses and special teams tonight. Oh instead of alternating between teams in my comparison tonight I will just talk about one teams LB, D line, etc. at a time

Fins

D line:We got depth at our D line with JT, Carter, Holiday,Traylor Zgonina and many other guys who I dont feel like listing. They got to pressure Chad this week so they can disruptnthe pasing game and force them to rely on C Mart or vice versa. The Jets O line isnt as good as Denvers so that shouldnt be a big problem.

LB: We are pretty deep here once again, are back ups are pretty talented and they will be rottaed in more often in this defense, as is the case with all positions of the defense. Some people argue that Zach is done but I dont think so, he may not be as quick as he once was, but he still pretty damn good. If this is Seau's last year he should go out with a high note since he is a blitzer and we will see more of that in Saban's defense. Crowder is pretty damn good and he will continue to get better and he is very versatile.

Seondary: 2 picks were made sunday by 2 of our newcomers Daniels and Shulters. T Buck and Lance are soild tacklers and Daniels will continue to improve. Reggie howard should play better, and the Jets will test his side of the field, since they know what Madison can do.

Special Teams: Wes Welker is da man, he can catch, punt, kick, & tackle but he does best is return kicks and punts So far he has 25.5 YPR and 16 YPR on punts. Donnie Jones has played pretty solidly and Mare played well too. Brian gilmore had some nice Special teams tackels; yet another versatile player.

Yea! Im almost done!

Jets

D line:They got some talent with Ellis, Ferguson, Robertson and John Abraham. they had trobling stoping the run allowing 198 rushing yards by the Cheifs. The Dolphins will try to exploit that weakness while the Jets will try to correct it. This should be a good test of the Fins O line, who played soildly last week.

LB: Poor Jonathan Vilma, he gave lip, and he got a fat lip in return not to mention a black eye. Oh well '' Its all about the ****in U'' as that possibly mentally challenged ******* Kellen Winslow Jr so eloquently put it. Hes probably the best one they have at that position. Barton aint bad either. Still they arent as deep at LB as they used to be.

Secondary: They have a pretty deep Secondary, they got Ty law, Erik Coleman, Kerry Rhodes, Barett and Justin Miller who will be good one day. Look for the fins to attack Law's opposite side, gain another test for that passing attack. Law had a nice pick maybe hes retuened to form? Anyways they all have good ball skills and they can tackle well, they should be an intresting factor in the game.

Special Teams: Ben Graham is a solid punter. Mike Nugent didnt play well in his last game, that was a big risk the Jets took in taking the kid so early, they are gonna put too much pressure on him and that pressure leads to mistakes. Im sure he will be a good kicker, I mean he has to be if he was taken in the second round right? Cotchery is a decent kick returner, he ain't no Santana Moss thats for damn sure.

Well I hope you guys enjoy my second preview, if you guys like it, I will try to do it every week.

I voted no, simply because your grammar and spelling were atrocious. I couldn't even finish reading it.

I think this was very biased, you really don't give the Jets credit where it's due.

Well, sorry I dont follow the Jets and I was in a hurry so thats whay the grammar and spelling were bad.

Thanks NYJunc I have been waiting for the Jets fans to come back and I knew you would be the first.

Well, no offense, but if you don't follow the Jets enough to know their strengths then maybe you shouldn't be talking about how well we match up against them.
You underestimate their defensive line. The NYJ have one of the best D-Lines in football, second maybe to Carolina. Their linebackers are led by a hard-hitting Hurricane alum who just happened to win defensive rookie of the year. However, you say they have a deep defensive backfield when Ty Law is the only proven veteran in a very young DB group.
I'm not trying to be a dick, but you asked for people to say whether you did a good job or not and I'm replying.

i stopped when you said "and many other guys i dont feel like listing",,,if youre gonna do something do it all the way..not half assed

I think you are a punk picking on a 17 y/o, thats what I think.

Good post man! Analysis was on point I think. You didn't get to all the positions...

I think QB is going to go in favor if Frerotte -- not because of talent but because of familiarity of the offense. Gus is comfortable in this offense, and it shows.

Chad's arm is a noodle right now. Some of those throws were downright pathetic. This part had nothing to do with knowing the offense. Chad just can't get the ball out there now. I say we throw crazy blitz packages with the risk of getting burnt once or twice, and RATTLE this punk.

Nice job overall, take the advice from the previous posters and try again next week.
I read the whole thing and didn't dislike it so that's a positive and if you improve with those comments then you'll have a good preview next week.

I gave you a "yes" because, even though i didnt agree with everything, as a whole I say it was pretty good. Keep up the good work!

Hey, don't knock that line. It was the funniest thing on this forum all week, even if unintenionally. The ironic part was he could have listed all the remaining linemen in less words than it took to write what he did.

Still, I applaud the effort and the enthusiasm and most of it was very accurate.
