I guess I get what they (coaches) were going for. Smith on Watson= shutdown. Allen in the slot, Carroll and Wilson playing the boundary. Too bad Wilson isn't a boundary CB. the best he'll be is a nickle CB or a safety due to his physical limitations.

I don't buy that about Wilson, the kid doesn't have any physical limitations, he would've gone much higher in the draft had he not gone to jail.

Physically, Wilson looks pretty good. With experience, he's gonna learn to be closer on that play, or to time his jump better, at least theoretically. I'm still waiting for Smith to learn these things.

If Wilson had grown his fingernails this week he would have knocked it down. Young Jimmy Wilson had a good game. I don't know if anyone is blaming him for the loss. I'll tell you what though, Carrol absolutely makes me cringe while on the field. I really want to like him but I just can't. Anyways, Jimmy has a bright future if he plays like he did today. Growing pains will happen, but his goods seemed to overshadow his bads.

i take my hat off to wilson, i like what im seeing from him, i dont blame wilson for this loss, this loss is on our failure to score in the redzone and sparano continues conservative approach to the game.

He's 5'10 and runs a 4.5 40. No physical limitations there.

I'll chalk that up to a rookie mistake. I thought he looked pretty good out there outside of that. He played with more fire than anybody else.

agreed. wilson had a solid game. probably much better than nolan carrol and comparable to fish lips. wilson was there on the last play, its not his fault he was one inch too short.
