fins need to get rid of wallace

What I hate more than anything is paying a guy a ton of money, and the guy then goes out and dogs it. Then you see guys who bust their ass on every play and make diving catches, and doing whatever it takes to make the team, playing on special teams, and they are making the NFL league minimum. If we can move Wallace for some decent players/picks, I am all for it. Why should this team take the big salary cap hit for this guy? What's he done for this team? If he doesn't get the ball he turns into Randy Moss and sulks. Meh. Give some of his money to Hartline or guys who bring it every game.

$60 million for nothing!!!!!!! its like having ted ginn all over again. the ball was in his f%$king hands on that last play and any elite WR wouldve made that catch. when ireland leaves, he can take wallace with him.

I disagree!!!! Wallace does not bear any blame for anything today. This was a good effort on his part.

They don't need to get rid of Wallace. They just need to start throwing to him like they did yesterday, and make damned sure they accompany that with an appropriate number of rushing attempts and a better backup to Brandon Gibson, since those two issues were the problem yesterday.

Wallace played great, but the chains couldn't be moved with the running game or the possession passing game. 13 first downs total on the game, which is horrendous. 13 first downs on average would place the Dolphins well beyond worst in the league right now.

The day after our great cannon arm franchise QB blows another game we're complaining about the guy that should've had 3 touchdowns and over 200 yards if someone could throw a deep ball. Wow this some of these fans are just as bad as the team.

this will all be forgotten next year. trust me. There are alot of things in this offense that needed perfecting. Alot of guys were new to this type of offense and then guys who were already here or also new were injured/out for the season. That effects the O. The Oline started this whole mess and its well documented so why now start in on Philbin and RT? Because that is the way of S. Fla. They give up early and quit looking at the future so they can bring the next bunch in.

It really doesnt work like that in the NFL. I understand the comments on finishing ect ect. We have a long way to go but it is getting better. We are ahead of many other teams. FA's tend to do better their second year with the team.

Just curious if the OP wanted to get rid of Brandon Marshall too. And Reggie Bush. That's it! Let's keep getting rid of our best skill players!!!

If he had made that catch itbwould have been the play of the year for us, and not even counting that it would've been a game winner. That was a near impossible grab. Wallace was definitely not the reason we lost.

Wallace does play soft, but he is good for our offence. Losing Keller and Gibson really hurt. He has always dropped balls, ask any Steeler fan.

What he gives us is a speed receiver that defenses have to defend, usually with a safety over the top...what that SHOULD give us is open receivers underneath AND a threat to run the ball. What he would give us IF those underneath routes were there AND the running game was a threat, is 1-2 touchdowns a game AND 80 to 120 yards receiving a game....which would give us a very challenging offense that scores points in ALL 4 quarters and gives our defense time to rest.
There is no way you will be able to justify in your mind his value until the TEAM plays as a unit. We are not good enough to become one demensional. We are not good enough to outlast a well balanced team for 4 quarters. We are not good enough to play from behind and expect to win.
Mike Wallace is on our team and in order to get what we paid for we have to be able to dictate the flow of the game and win the chess game between the offense and defense. We have Mike Wallace and THEY don't.......so he also gives us relief that we do not have to defend him from the likes of the Pats, Jets and Bills twice each year. Put the game plan together with a team that gets it and you my friend will see a winner.

A 53 yard TD pass

CAN NOT

be underthrown.

By definition it is the perfect pass

If he would have caught that ball, I'm not sure he would've gotten in the end zone. It looked to me that he would have gone down at the 1 and with 10 seconds left, I don't think we would have gotten another play.

... and if he made the catch, we could focus on Philbin's imprudent use of timeouts to end the game. Frankly I'd rather have that be the focus and have the players make the plays they need to make. We were in the position of throwing that HM due to Philbin's strategy.
