Going into the offseason, here are the needs I thought we had:
WR2
OG
TE
DT
DE
LB
CB
S

I feel as though we have filled the following:
WR2
TE
DE

So we still need:
OG
DT
LB
CB
S

Does that sound correct to everyone else?

Agree 100%. Still lots of work to do in free agency. Can really only count on getting 2, maybe 3 starters at most from the draft.

yup.

LB is our biggest concern.
OG is a close second, as is
S with the departure of IAQ.

down the list is

DT (need one or two to rotate with Suh, Phillips, and the mighty Nick Williams).
CB (mainly slot. ok at boundary with Howard, Lippett, Maxwell. Can really never have enough talented corners).
Throw in a young, pass rushing DE, and we're good (Can get by with Wake, Branch, Hayes, Fede and the ever enigmatic Dion Jordan if he makes the team).

Still think we need a young TE for the future.....I'm really not sold on Thomas

Agree for most part but I would list our current needs as of Friday afternoon 2PM at :
1-LB
2-OG
3-FS

not too concerned at this point with DT DE or even CB unless its a slot CB to compete with McCain

I wouldn't take DE off the board and I still think we need two OGs. Only CB position I think we need to look at is the slot. Maxwell, Howard and Lippett can man the boundary...would love to have two CBs who can play the slot just to help matchup against the plethora or slot receivers the Patriots have.

I know it's not a popular opinion - At LB, it's starting to make sense to keep Misi to me - we sign one of the FA MLB's which looks to be happening and move Kiko to weak side, and with Koa Misi still on team at SAM we can draft whoever BPA, including a LB to compete/develop if the cards fall that way, but at least we have day 1 starting lineup before the draft with upgrades at all 3 LB spots over 2016...and potential to upgrade in draft.

Guess since I am in the Philly area I am dwelling on these guys, but I really think Boykin & Kendricks fit very well.
Both are 26 years old i believe

I would say 2 OG's versus just one. I know we signed Ted Larson, but I'm not sold on him being a starter. We'll see what happens with that.

So this free agent MLB you talk of...can he cover? If not who are you putting out in the nickel? Alonso and Misi? That's no better than what we had this past season.

This. I think LB/G are 1a/1b though

Guard, linebacker and safety I would agree with most of you here. Need to get a vet guard and linebacker and draft Peppers for safety and draft a LB and another G in this years draft.

What a shame that we need a DT to rotate with Suh. About a month ago I spoke how disappointed I was with Phillips and many on this board said that he was still young and should put it all together this season. Here we are now talking about needing a DT. Gase needs to talk to this kid cause he is not getting it done....IMO this should not be a need for the Dolphins. We traded Albert, but I could argue we could have traded him instead....the only thing he has going for him right is youth.
