Fins not giving up on Soliai yet.

Paul not to be mean or anything, but you are being paid to do a job very few get the opportunity to do. It is sad that you have to be reminded to get your **** together and your *** in gear.
 
they arent giving up on him yet because he is 6-4 and 355 lbs... the PERFECT size for a NT in the 3-4
 
If there is one guy that needs to get his **** together this offseason if he wants a chance to stay in this league, let alone remain a Dolphin, it's Paul Soliai. Manny Wright had a better work ethic than Soliai to this point.

To Soli's credit..I think he has one more tackle and, fewer tears than Manny.
 
he has amazing measureables.. 6'4 355... the guy is huge and could be a beast, similar to Haloti Ngata...

aside from his immaturity off the field, this guy needs to live up to his high draft pick and his size... if your that big is that hard to occupy a center and guard? im not asking for him to tackle, just eat up half of the opponents Oline...

whatever it is, i hope he is coached up so we dont have to spend a first round pick on someone like terrance cody... i'd love to see a huge Somoan Center (Satele) and NT (Soliai) on our team, working out...

It wouldn't surprise me if Soliai overslept and missed a meeting. That would be my guess. I'm thinking he's irresponsible.

All I've heard is "Team rules" Could be as simple as being late for a meeting, to missing a practice to bringing a weapon to the facility. (Not suggesting any of these is fact).
 
I can tell you when that "window" closes....

If 6'5 365lb Terrence Cody declares to enter the draft, and he's there when it's our turn to pick in the first round. DRAFT HIM!!!!

I would give Soli until then to get his act right, I wouldn't pass up on a talent like Cody, hoping Soli come around.
 
Well, with Ferguson on his last legs, that position has to be addressed in the off-season.

Somehow I dont see this Front Office passing on drafting a NT. Soliai has done noting as of yet to merit the FO not taking a NT in the draft.

I don't see them releasing Solai. He wasn't a real high draft pick. Even if Cody is drafted, that would just relegate Solai to career backup.
Could you imagine those 2 on goal line defense?

You HAVE to imagine Solai...He's done nothing of substance to warrent and physical proof that he's worth having on the field.
 
Man I hope this kid gets it, alot of talent with his size. I can forgive him if he starts playing to his potential.
