Fins offer Stills 8-9 million per year

At that price, I think he comes back. No state income tax, a team he already knows, a coaching staff he is comfortable with, and a location he likes.

Oooh, interesting. Can't wait to see the reaction on this site to those numbers. A little high, but at the way the cap # has been increasing, in 3 yrs it may seem like a drop in the bucket.

He's gonna bite, IMO, for the reasons above. No state income tax, already knows the system, comfortable with coaches and personnel. And in all honesty, Stills seems to be one of those team guys that just really loves playing for the Dolphins. If the Eagles are out of the picture then I can't see any team offering more than 10/yr and for that he will stay at 8-9.

I'd be happy if we can keep him for at that price. One less position to worry about

Ozzy rules!!

The bigger question is how this deal impacts Landry and Parker. One of them will end up out in the cold when their deals come up because I doubt we would tie up so much cap space in 3 receivers...

Sure seems that way. Let them have there fun Miami won 11 games and made the playoffs, but these guys need have their fun too. In the end a few doubters or supporters are not going to make or break a player either way.

the cap keeps going up. it seems the majority of teams have lots of cap space. have to keep pace or you end up losing everybody. even if the money seems crazy. i'm not advocating overpaying, i'm saying a lot of numbers that seem like overpaying aren't overpaying.

the fact he cant get on the field is a bigger issue for him than the haters.

dallas thomas played a lot and was terrible.

pick a draftee that wasn't able to get on the field much as a rookie and everybody started to yell "bust" or "sucks."

Not entirely his fault. Look at the top 3 at WR. When he got in he scored plus Tannehill missed him for another TD
