This fifth round pick out of Memphis has been one of the biggest surprises of training camp, flying all over the field and making his presence felt.

“When I was younger I was a leader,” he explained. “But you know being a rookie you have to step into that roll. You have to form into that roll. You have to show the guys that you possess those attributes to do that for the team. It’s whatever it takes. If they want me on special teams, that’s fine. Corner, nickel, wherever they want to put me I’m willing to play the ball game.”
Before getting to the NFL, McCain idolized a current Dolphins player, Pro Bowler Brent Grimes. Not just for his on-field talents, but for his football IQ.
“I just pick his brain from time to time. Whether we’re watching film, watching game tape, I ask him ‘let’s come over, get a few more minutes of film to show me something he knows that I don’t.’ Like I said he’s a gaeat guy,” said McCain.
That extra time has paid off. McCain passed his first major evaluation, coming down with an interception and multiple pass break-ups during the Dolphins scrimmage at FIU.

I predict a lot of playing time for him tonight. Show us how good you are young man

TedSlimm had high praise for Bobby pre-draft.. When a CB starts making noise in his rookie year, it's definitely a good sign - hope he keeps it up and I can see him starting nickle easily a some point this season, injuries or no.

Oh, and it's ROLE. He isn't making a sandwich out there

Might want to try not being so handsy, Bobby.

For what i saw first game i need more from bobby as a top 4 corner...

Like lippetts length in the red zone...remains to be seen if i like it the other 60 yards...hard to hide 4.6

Scheme of coyles gives away yards if the qb reads it right...taylors yards against all coverage played driven although i would like to see a little more awareness

If bowman or davis play for you in games that matter they gonna be picked on...davis will give up tons of yards in front of him...of the two though id probably keep davis due to scheme...but man will he wear a target

qb has time thats easy money vs 1s

I want to see more from Lippett..McCain plays aggressive which is why he is always reaching. I'm sure after last night he notices how he can't use his hands as much to grasp and needs to work on footwork and technique. I'm really hoping Lippett turns out to be the tall corner we need ala Sean "can't catch a cold, but rated a 91 on Madden 16" Smith.

esp. if you want to beat the Pats and Broncos

Let me add colts , since they're likely to be our rival in the afc for years to come .

(Shoutout to hoops for calling it since day one )
