Channing Crowder was on my early flight out of Ft. Lauderdale this morning. I was traveling with my 16 month old daughter, so I didn't really get to talk to him. I told him she was a big fan.

He said he didn't think JT would win Dances with Stars, but that he did better than he had expected. He thought he would fall on his face. He seemed entertained, not bothered that he was on the show. Apparently he did watch it.

He also said Cam Cameron wasn't ready to be a head coach.

Crowder was a pretty personable guy. He was traveling without any luggage in shorts in a T and sat in the very back of the plane. I was a fan of the guy before, so it was nice to see he wasn't pretentious. Hopefully, he has a big year. I know he has chances before, but as of now the MLB seems to be his to lose.

Did he leave his unregistered gun on the seat when he left the plane? :lol:

Crowder won't be the middle LB for long if at all. The guy is just not very good.

Of all things you asked him about JT on Dancing with the Stars.

LOL that made me laugh (no sarcasm involved). Its not like he could have talked to him like we talk here on FH. If I had the time we have on here with a player, I would ask him a bajillion questions but I dont so I dont.
 
I would have asked him why he chases plays, never cuts off the play at poa and why he takes such bad tackling angles. :up:
 
I use to see crowder all the time in gainesville when he went to uf. Its funny because no matter where he was he was in basketball shorts and a tshirt, he was such a scrub as far as how he dressed. He is pretty personable though atleast he was as a gator, except i did see him get involved in a fight and hes a scary dude, nice guy just had the back of a teammate who got in a fight.

I was in a hotel bar in Indy night before a game and the Dolphins were staying there. Met Gary Stevens and asked him why his offense was so vanilla. He didn't answer me just stared back. It made Larry Seiple laugh. :lol:
