Here is what I like about what the dolphins are doing. Instead of trying to sign players that will compete with the way that the AFC East plays football, we are building our own team and doing it our way. Like the bulls created matchup problems for the heat, I think that we will for the rest of the AFC east. Alot of teams try to copy what is sucessfull for other teams, but for the most part, if you do that, you will always behind the curve. Do it your own way and let others copy you. While Cam had a great offense in San Diego, I am sure Shot tied his hand a bit. I cant wait to see what he can do with total control of this team.

Another thing that I am impressed with is that Muller, Cam, and Huizinga are presenting a unified front office. That can only help when there is a vision of what the team should look like and everbody is on page with getting that done.

Nice post, and good observation. We are doing what the Colts did in the AFC South. Everybody else in that division is building thier teams to stop the Colts, but they are all behind the curve.

Hopefully in three years the AFC East teams will be building their defenses to stop Brown the same way the AFC West teams try to stop Tomlinson. It looks like we are going in the right direction - getting rid of questionable characters like McMichael and Wright.

I Agree,we are drafting tough, fast, smart football players with great character.our offense is lethal and very versatile with ronnies power and grace,,books explosiveness, chambers finesse, ginn's untouchable talent, combine that with the leadership and smarts of beck,,,,i like our team alot and applaud ramcam's decisions so far.

Well said. I like that viewpoint. It's late, but welcome to Finheaven.

I love Ronnie, but comon, comparing him to LT? That's just a joke. More like stopping Ginn+QB.

I agree with the way Cam is building our Offense, but think we still need to add a DB to stop Moss.

That is exactly what this team isnt going to do, just go out and aign players so that we can matchups. A great pass rushe (great d-line and LB's) will help the secondary, which will help the defense overall alot more than grabbing a cb. More bang for the buck. Also, i really like our linebackers and think this will be a breakout season for Channing.

I like the fact of getting character people. You can teach how to play the game but character is not taught.

Eventually skilled free agents with character will want to come here if the dolphins remain on track.

Well I don't think Champ Bailey and Chris McAlister are available so whom do you suggest we bring in?

That's what I'm talking about. I agree.
