Miko is going nuts on twitter. Seems as though she's upset with the status of contract negotiations with Brent and the Dolphins... She even mentions possibly leaving next year:

Its one thing if u dont think he deserves it. But to say he will be cheaper is a bitch move. Only bitches do **** like that.

If this were 2yrs ago, i wouldve snapped on u. ATL taught me every1 wont appreciate him. Thought Miami would be different :(

The whole "lets not pay him or help him get to the Pro Bowl" idea is the reason we're in MIA. It can be the reason we're not here too. SMFH!


having Grimes walk next year would really suck.
 
I don't think it's hardball as much as the Fins refuse to negotiate during the season. BUT because we signed him to more than the vet minimum we have exclusive negotiating rights until the start of free agency
 
its still really, really early. it was probably just the first offer...i highly doubt Ireland lets Grimes walk since he has been playing at an All-Pro level this year.

I have no doubt they would be willing to pay him. But, if they don't negotiated during the season..they don't! Just wait.

we will work out a contract in due time, with the playoffs in site I think we have bigger fish to fry right now.

You would think if she actually gave a **** about the team and her husband's future with them, she'd think like you and shut her mouth til the end of the playoffs.
 
One of the main reasons why you NEVER have a love one represent you. Emotions get way to involved. Grimes will be a Dolphon next year. The hell with Jeff not letting it happen. Ross won't. Just relax. It is early and the season is still on. WAY more things to worry about right now than a next year contract. However from Grimes POV he wants to know he is staying around another year or so sooner than later.
 
I don't think this has anything to do with current contract negotiations. Omar Kelly was asking fans to vote for Brandon Fields and Brent Grimes for Pro Bowl on Twitter. Some fan replied saying we shouldn't vote Grimes in because then he will cost more. Omar asked Miko to respond why this is silly. Apparently, she did not take it well. And for good reason. How are you going to not vote for a player that has played as well as he has for your favorite team? I don't get some fans.

He may have just cost Miami more money for Grimes by making that stupid suggestion!!!!!

Grimes is clear PB!!!!
 
We just extended Misi mid-season. So, go ahead and throw out the "we never negotiate during the season" angle.

Brent bought one but she put it on him and then she put on her strap-on and applied the lube. This is an interesting negotiation. Where we see Brent Grimes negotiating with Ireland, the negotiation is probably between Miko Grimes and Dawn Aponte and it will be tough.
