NFL.com has him listed as signing a future contract with us on 1/3.
 
Instead of being a 2 sport star, Samuda is going to be a 2 team star. He'll play with Vikings half the games and with the Dolphins the other half.
 
Confused why you would sign a guy you didn't think was good enough the first time around. Is this the definition of insanity?

G. D.! Can we please start bringing in NFL-caliber ATHLETES that can be developed? Josh Samuda proved to be less than that. Dallas Thomas has proved to be less than that. How do we draft guys who are physically to weak to compete at a position where physical strength and POWER is the key need?

It's just ridiculous.

Samuda is just one of those guys that has marginal talent, and does just enough to make coaches believe he can be developed, but every time he's in a game he lays an egg. Best to just move on from these types of players.
