Moore had an 88 QB rating I believe. He started off very poorly (most likely due to no 1st reps, no OTAs, nada) and really picked up steam, despite having a coach who was infatuated with getting to the Red Zone and kicking FGs. I think worse comes to worse, Moore should be okay. We definitely need a RT though, youre right about OL help.
 
I would love this move, and not because of Manning.It shows the fans the team is serious about improving. Wayne may be old, but he's still a great receiver. Paired with Marshall, Moore should have sufficient weapons to go tit-for-that with the rest of the league.
 
i like reggie wayne so i'd be happy to have him here regardless of manning. one of the true greats to come out of the U. no idea if it would influence manning's thinking on where to play (probably not). i feel confident that the right offer from the fins would make reggie forget any thoughts of waiting and following manning. he has expressed interest in playing for us.
 
I vote for signing him too. Regardless of what Manning does, Wayne, even at his age, is an upgrade over Hartline, Gates, Wallace, Bess or Moore. The guy can still play at a high level.
If we do, we should make it clear that we are excited about Wayne joining the team, and it has no effect on the Manning situation :rolleyes2:
