Fins Shopping Sean Smith (also low-balling Eric Winston)

As far as Winston goes, I'm sure it's not out of comprehension. This is the same GM that gave Jake Grove $30M on next to nothing.

Pay the guy, and for Smith......I'd perfer him to not be anywhere around the vicinity of the Miami Dolphins.....so, at least we're on the right track.

I like both of those. There's decent right tackles that we should waste 7 mil a year on. And if we can bring in Richard Marshall it would make a lot of sense to move Smith or limit his role. Maybe match Smith up with tight ends. Smith graded out as one of the worst cover corners in the league last year, he's not a good corner.

If true quit being a prick Ireland and pay Winston! Give him a nice 4 to 5 year deal and call it a day. Draft a guard in the 2nd or trade up into the late first and the line will be done.

This is what Smith gets for tweeting a picture of our new uni, can't have any god-damned insubordination up in this biatch...

I'm not a big Ireland fan but what do you guys want him to do, offer as much as he can to start with?.....should we spend the whole cap on a RT?

Ozzy rules!!

So, now that we can't do any fistpump jokes, it's going to be acorn ones now? Can't wait to see how lame these ones get...

How much leverage can we really have in negotiations to trade Smith

Ireland "we want a 4th for sean smith"

other GM "ummmm you just traded Marshall for 2 3rds... how does a 6th in 2015 sound"

Why not? We spent the first overall pick on a tackle. Drafted a center in the top half of the draft. Im more surprised that Ireland decided not to blow his cap on Winston.

Also, thank god we spent a second rounder on Smith. Irelands way of building a team rocks: spend a second round pick on a player, wait 2 or 3 years, then trade them away for less then what you spent.

Good moves in my book too.

Smith only seems to give up first downs, over & over again too. If that wasn't bad enough the kid throws a mini parade everytime he makes a play. Madison was a very good corner & his little celebrations were funny as hell. Smith isn't anywhere near that good. He isn't getting it done, plain & simple.

Solia is a solid guy in the middle, playing 4-3 scheme would be easier for him probably.

Now twitter knows how much Ireland is offering a FA...........good job.

Interesting. Who would play corner?

someone good.

anyone who thinks smith isnt AWFUL isnt watching. he is decent on a straight fly pattern but he lets guys get around him way to easy. he isnt physical AT ALL and cant turn his hips.

it wont be hard to upgrade him with an f/a or a draft pic.

maybe CLAIBORNE will be te choice and give us atrue shut down corner to go with vontae AND give us a killer return guy!

i really wanted courtland finnegan. thats gone though.

smith has some hype left and we should get a pic from someone. a 6th next year in 2013 and i will pay for his plane ticket to go to his new team.

HEAR ME SEAN?

A trade for a '12 7th rounder and a '13 7th rounder could work with Sean, when Jeff includes himself in the package deal.
