Take it for what it is worth. I don't think we pass if he is at 25. I doubt he is though and I don't see us trading up. So that makes me wonder, Smoke Screen or Legitimate? I am not an insider so I can't read the whole article but here it what I can get to.

This is in he Dolphin Digest page of Scout. I got their by going to the Fox Sports Miami Dolphins page.

Of course they are, why wouldn't they. I doubt he is there at 25.

I am certainly not a draft guru, but I think Maualaga could be an impact player for our defense for a long time. Probably the best case scenario for him is Junior Seau and the worst case scenario would be LaVar Arrington.

I think there is a very reasonable chance he will be available @ 25
I can think of five other players I'd rather have on the team who could possibly be there @ 25
if we draft for need: CB & NT are ahead of LB
if we draft BPA: it simplifies everything
do we go up in the draft to combine the two?
I doubt it, but nothing would surprise me (like BJ Raji, Boston College- might have to go up as far as 11 to secure the pick)

we shall see. there is a plan in place, that much I'm sure

He could be there at 25 teams have question his decision making and the torn hamstring will cost him a couple spots. He is one hell of a LB and alot better than Cushing and Matthews.

If he's there at #20 or so I woudn't be surprised to see the Fins try to move up to get him

He Tore his Hamstring so chances are he is there at 25
It is not a torn hamstring but a strain.
The Bleacher Report

Maualuga was interviewed by the NFL Network's Scott Hanson shortly after his run.

“I could feel it for the past two weeks,” Maualuga said. “I just wanted to come out here and compete with the very best. I wanted to show the coaches and scouts I could do everything. Now I’m just going to go to the trainer and get right and hopefully be able to do the Pro Day."

“I didn’t want to come out here and use my hamstring as an excuse," Maualuga added. "Unfortunately, it’s been bothering me, but I felt I could go. I wasn’t pressured to do it. I thought I could go out and do the 40 and do it in a good time.

Luckily the injury is not serious and Maualuga will make a full recovery, most likely in time to participate in Pro Day.

name 5 others???

Great player
Do not think he will be there at 25
don't think he will make it past the Pats
if we did get him there would be a huge isse.
He is strickly an ILB
Can't plug him in a head of Crowder
He won't sit the bench
Not sure he gets pluged in ahead of Akin right away- maybe over the season he starts over him
we would have a crowded ILB group - Akin is a more then capable backup.

we better sprint the card up should mauluga be on the board at #25. passing on him is crazy.

and i love hakeem nicks but not over mauluga.
