To make room for McClendon, they waive James-Michael Johnson.

i actually think douglas strength fits center if he could just snap the ball with consistency

I'd lean more towards putting McClendon at left guard so we'd have some bite...dallas Thomas is a pillow

It was an exhaustive search to find this player.

Brings me back to another point, why did Jeff Linkenbach make the team if he was never an option to replace Thomas or Fox during the season. Sometimes he is not even active. They carried a vested vet for all this season and he never plays. Bad roster management.

So how long is Pouncey going to be out?

He's not a bad player, But you are right, he's not worth what he's being paid, and he hasn't played a full season since 2012.

yeah too much coin for a guy that stays hurt every year...just like his brother

The same reason we didn't carry a backup center on the roster. It's stuff like this where the staff and FO handicaps the team instead of trying to elevate it.

Nothing matters at this time. We have yet another off season of trying to fix the oline....smh

Ozzy rules

This season is living proof how fragile the depth and starters were on the OL - another reason why Tannenbaum needs to justify his job. They refused to address this line and by this week in the season, it is held with a wet band aid. There is no excuse for this, after "signing your franchise qb." I am sick of this half-way thinking:

1. sign a qb and WR's, don't address the line
2. throw all the money to one DL, and ignore LB's
3. Build a roof that covers half the field.

Really? Ross really has no football ops knowledge and needs to hire someone that does, and stay out of it. He needs to reduce the Chiefs and Have more Indians. Is the Pats org this crowded at the top?

Did the stadium plans change?

So how long is Pouncey going to be out?

Reports say it is a minor foot injury but I dont see how it could be minor. Id think anyone in a walking boot wouldnt be minor. There's only 5 more weeks left to the season
