Fins sign Foster

His running style seemed to be more about having a knack for finding and hitting the gaps than blazing speed. He should age decently. Of the guys we could have signed going back to CJ, he's up there as far as preference.

LOL. Look at this article.

Former Texans coach Gary Kubiak used to insist that Arian got better as the game progressed. This conditioning is not by accident. Details are paramount to Abdul’s training regimens. In 2010, he eliminated inefficient mechanics in Arian’s sprinting technique and helped improve his 4.7-second 40-yard dash to a 4.2. He used similar drills to help his brother regain that “second gear” this offseason before he was hurt.

Signing Foster is a calculated gamble that we probably needed to make based on what alternatives we currently have on our roster which consists of alot of inexperience in the NFL and have shown to be a bit injury prone. It would have so much easier to have resigned Miller a proven commodity and then we would not have given away draft picks or felt the need to force the high pick in the 3rd round on the Alabama running back.

So..... we got rid of a 25 year old rising star in Lamar Miller, who could breakout and become one of the leagues top 3 backs..... in exchange for a 30 yr old who is not as good and is coming off a serious injury

Yep, that's something the Dolphins would do.

"got rid of" is too strong.
