Reports from the PalmBeachPost report that the Dolphins are still looking at F/A WR options. Reports that we may be looking at Terrance Cooper (NO) and possibly C. Moore (Balt).
Both are restricted F/A's and Moore would probably cost us a 6th round pick. However, Cooper would not cost us a pick if NO failed to match our offer.

Sounds like Cam may not be set with our WR corps before going into the draft. Has anyone heard if we are visiting with either one of these guys or is it just talk at this point ?

I like both receivers we are looking at.. im tired of our small receivers with bad hands.. lets get some height in there....clarence moore is 6'6 i think..he could be a good redzone target for our mediocre qb corps

don't know much about either. burners?

maybe copper.. he was like the 3rd reciver over in NO... Clarence Moore is tall as heck... 6'6 is a nice size for a wide receiver... but im sure he isnt that fast

Copper was looking to be a bit of a journeyman type player until he settled with New Orleans last year. I liked what I saw of him and he had a couple of big games for the Saints, but who didn't in that offense last year?

this should be a sign that MIA isnt looking to draft Tedd Ginn Jr at #9 either. If they arent looking to trade up, maybe they are targeting Landry, Hall, Houston, or Jamaal. As much as I'm mad about not really upgrading our WR corps...this is what it seems they are leaning towards.

Come on guys. FA now is at the deep end of nothing. WR is bare now. Lets hope we load up on draft picks and hope Hagan realises his time has come.

I think we draft Levy Brown before any of these guys

Copper has a little bit of exp and also returns Kicks (w/Dallas), but only 6 ft tall and 200 pds. Moore is 6'6" and 220. He's also supposedly fast and able to stretch the field. Problem is, neither has had enough playing time or all around skills at this point to be considered anything more than a "project" or depth at the position. I'm surprised we're looking at others for this role vs. those we already have. I'd be shocked if we didn't at least get one guy in the first 3 or 4 rounds at WR.

N.O. offered Copper $850k yesterday so we would have to top that and N.O. has the opportunity to match it.

But they would receive NO draft pick compensation if they didnt. So he essentially signs with them, or they get nothing.

I like Copper. Played well for the Saints and has returned kicks. Woul d be a solid addition.

Also remember Randy still has connections in the NO front office, i.e. his brother. Probably knows a thing or two about Copper.
