My guess is, Gus was persuaded by the '72 Dolphins members to pretend to get an injury, fly to Indy, and switch places with Peyton Manning. :evil:

But seriously, Bolts were going to fight for that game regardless. Indy just didn't care as much and they also lost some good linemen due to injuries in that game.
