Just looking at the schedules, and Pitt plays Cincy this weekend. Now if they lose to that explosive offense and Big Ben can't get it moving, and we win against the struggling, horrendous Titans, then both of us are 1-2.

Thats not bad, being tied with the defending world champs 3 games into the year.

Just thought that might be a decent perspective for people who think the sky is falling after 2 games.

As the great Rocky Balboa said, Nothing is over.

The sky is def not falling, but it's holding on for dear life. One thing I've yet to hear this season (maybe because it's only said late in the year) Is how much parity there is in the NFL. The Steelers are as banged up as we are so 1-2 on their part might be a little decieving. But way to early in the year to compare records...the Saints are 2-0 for Buddha's sake.

honestly if we do win 1-2 is 1-2 no matter how you look at it

We don't need to have a better record then the Steelers, we need a better record then the Patriots.

except the fact that they beat us, so its not really like were tied with them. Plus them being 1-2 would mean that we are no where towards the top of the NFL being that we were there only win. This of course is using faulty logic, but thats what the topic was based on anyways.

Hey, nice perspective, but still, if we lose to the Titans, the Titans, then even I who has tried to maintain persepctive thus far will lose a lot of hope for this team this year. Not that I don't think we could get better, but that we have to do it while the Patsies continue to win. That's all that matters, having a better record than the Patsies.

On top of that losing to the Titans would be extremely depressing when they are struggling so much as it is. I mean what would it say about our team if we could not even step up and compete with the Titans. Should Kerry Colling be abale to join a team and in only weeks move his offense enough to beat the Dolphins, I don't think he should. If he does, then this Miami is worse off than I thought.

But because we lost to them, we'll still be a game behind them.

I'm thinking we actually need to win a game before counting hatched chickens again.

Why can't we count hatched chickens?

who cares who were tied with?
all i care about is playing Tennessee and trying to get our 1st win.
