Well, Miami lost again. It was pretty much guaranteed before the game was played. The Dolphins did play decent at times though. They still made big mistakes. They have ABSOLUTELY no running game at all. That is official. Harrington played at QB and was only sacked once. He did a great job getting the ball out and avoiding the sacks. He had two INTS, but they were both affected by the play of the entire offense. The first was a forced throw because he was about to get creamed. The second was a tipped ball off of Welker's hands.

Miami's only TD was thanks mostly to Welker's great play. He had a HUGE first half. He gets the game ball on offense. The defense TOTALLY shut down the Patriots run game. I enjoyed that immensely. The still gave up pass plays on 3rd down though. That kept drives alive. The safeties were more involved. BELL is a name that any Dolphin fan should remember. The guy flat out makes plays on defense. He gets my game ball on defense.

The score was 13 - 10 in the 4th quarter. Even with the mistakes, the Dolphins were in it. The refs made a HORRIBLE call against Miami to put the ball basically on the goaline for the Patriots to score. They were basically handed that TD to make it 20 -10. It totally ruined a great game. The refs totally interfered with a great game. They should never have called that penalty. If anything, it should have been called on the offense. Brady threw the pass behind his receiver (arguably uncatchable), and the receiver turned and grabbed the Miami defender by his pads. The Miami defender (Will Allen) turned his head back, but was unable to turn his body because #85 has a hold of his pads. It was such a horrible call. You should never let a questionable call decide the outcome of a game. Ugh.

So the score probably should of ended 16 - 10. Or maybe Miami gets a TD in the 4th and wins 17 - 16. We will never know thanks to the refs.

Miami still has problems, especially on offense. Harrington played good at QB, so I don't see a need to rush Culpepper back until he is ready. Whenever Culpepper is ready, he better play decent or I can totally see Harrington coming in again. And Ronnie Brown needs to wake up or something. He is having a dismal season. Miami has no running game. I don't really have any complaints about the defense, except maybe cleaning up the play in the secondary. The safeties did come up and help stop the run today, which was an improvement.

It was pass interferece against the Fins at the end, Allen didn't turn around. Come on.

Other secondary defenders seem to always step in front of our guys and make interceptions. When will our secondary learn to to the same?

Will agree with nearly all ... however, if DANIELS and ALLEN are among the leaders in tackles during a game -- that is not a good thing in the big picture.

Let CULPEPPER have until the break to make some adjustments, improve his reads and get a bit more healthy ... then again, maybe HARRINGTON shows enough over the next 2 games to keep the job ...

Who knows, it wasn't very balanced -- but the OFFENSE DID MOVE THE BALL against a pretty good NE Defense ... and that has to be a positive

Play the same game the next 2 weeks with only 1 TO -- and we are likely to win both of them.

I hate how Mularkey runs on plays when the other team knows they are going to run then doesn't pound it when he needs to. He needs to be on the sideline feeling the flow of the game. So many times I would say alright time to run the ball. The pats lineup in a pass stopping formation coming out of the huddle and I think it is going to happen. Then he just passes. Then on a 2nd a 10 when he is trying to get his run pass ratio back to 1:1. He decides to run, which I thought would be obvious seeing the situation and the Pats came out in a almost 9 man front and stuffed it.

Because of the poor selection he abandons it later in the game.

^^^^Emotionally driven......TOTALLY.

My TIVO told me the story of that PI. Allen was making full body contact with the receiver and drifted the receivers route deeper than intended. Never turned his head once to make the ball. Every DB gets called for that PI in any game at any time. Accept the facts.

Anyone who says Will Allen did not turn around on the PI call is blind. You're blind. That's it. Go back and watch it again. He most certainly does turn his head. He can't turn his body because #85 has both hands on his pads. You can see that too. On top of all that, the pass is thrown way behind the receiver. When a game is that close, you just don't decide the outcome on a boderline call. If you argue with that, then you are arguing for a shady NFL.

Even if the call isn't made, the Dolphins would have probably come up short. But you never know. And the game would have played out and finished the way the first 3 quarters were - exciting and close.

Hardly. After replaying that clip numerous times it never changes. While I agree the contact on Allens part was momentum and not egregious, when the DB fails to turn his head and look for the ball the refs are gonna call it all day. If you honestly think he turned his head you're not watching the same play, or you're in serious need of better television reception. Try Directv digital with Tivo- it rocks.

The Dolphins should just be thankful the Patriots had the class and respect enough to take a knee in the final minutes versus punching up another 6 points.
