Fins want a 3rd for Lamar Gordon?

I thought the Titans had Chris Brown, havent the Eagles lost a RB recently, Burkhalter?
If the eagles have a severe need they might give up what it takes to get Gordon

They also have Westbrook so Gordon would be a temporary back-up for the season so I'm thinking they give a 4th and Miami accepts.

Well Philadelphia has Brian Westbrook and a very talented rookie in Ryan Moats so I wouldn't definitely call it severe need but I could see them having interest in Lamar Gordon and possibly Sammy Morris. Now that it's been made official that they are expressing interest in Gordon, I really don't feel that they will be giving up very much if anything.

Tht should be what it takes for a fan other than a Fin fan to get on here.

why is this a shock to anyone? if the fins ask for a 5th, they'll get a 6th or 7th, at least this way when they ask for a 3rd teams will try to bargain for a 5th or so, you know? it makes sense

What the hells going on around here. Aren't we usually trading away our picks this time of year. :rofl3:

We need to get rid of Gordon. I'd give him away for free right now, thats how bad he sucks. I go to the same high school that Gordon went to. If he played like his high school days, he would be awsome, but he dances in the backfield toooooo much. I think he is afraid of NFL defensive linemen.

I would take a six pack and some doritos for gordon

You can have some chips, but noone is givin you any beer for him.

A 5th would seem the value. If its a late pick like the Eagles, maybe a 4th.

It's still a big need. They need a big back. One who can handle the serious pounding that goes along with short yardage and goal line situations. Westbrook and Moats are both small, and an injury to one of them would cripple the backfield. Gordon is a big back that would provide good depth in case of any injury to the two remaining backs. Asking for a third round pick is the perfect starting point in a negotiation becasue that is what we gave up to get him here. Philly doesn't have a fifth, so I can see this ending up with a fourth round pick. If they try to low ball us with a sixth rounder, I'll make them wait four or five weeks into the season until we release a RB.

4th rd sounds reasonable, although a 3rd rounder of the Eagles is nearly where we pick next year in the 4th, so maybe it will be their 3rd.
Behind our line not even Tomlinson or James could run, so I am still not sure what he is capable of

Buckhalter is out for the year..But I wouldn't call it a severe need. Buckhalter was out last year too. They did ok with Brian Westbrook, Dorsey Levens and Reno Mahe. This year they have Brian Westbrook, Ryan Moats and Reno Mahe....and I'm sure they could pick Levens back up in a pinch if they wanted to.

Gordon and DT/Gilmore for a 3rd rd pick would be equal value for Miami and Philly.

Besides TO Philly has a bunch of rookies at WR position. They could really use a veteran in case TO goes nutszo.

Well i guess its up to me to say this but , what is going on is life without speilman thats what it is. (kidding) we should see if we can trade travis minor, donald lee and aj feeley for a second rd pick. It would be nice if we could trade thompson and minor for a olineman.
