So please forget about Hakeem nicks and kenny britt, etc.....none of these guys are Special. We will get the pass-rush as close to elite as possible. Remember tom brady is back. So I can see the first three rounds going CB,OLB,DE,CB Thats then takes us to round four and then I believe we will get either a WR or RB. WHICH EVER BRINGS THE BEST VALUE. So lets forget about these average at best wideout outs not named Crabtree and focus on reality we need to get after the QB with young studs....Finally I'm all for JT coming back, I believe he will be big help to cameron wake and who ever we draft at OLB or DE.:D

I agree. The dominant teams don't just win with defense. They win with DOMINANT intimidating defense.
We have a division rival that has an explosive offense and loves to throw the football around. Their QB is coming off a knee injury and wasn't exactly the most mobile QB in the league prior to the injury.
He can't hurt you when he's on his back.
The way to beat the Pats is the way the Steelers did earlier in the season and the way the Giants did it in the SB. You stop the run and POUND the QB into submission.
BP and Sparano already know this. I expect to see LB"s, LB's, DT's and perhaps a CB in the earlier rds of the draft.
They addressed the O-line in FA.

Don't be so sure. This is easier said than, but I believe Miami will be able to trade down. Some way some how I think the Fins will get more 2nd and 3rd round picks.

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAMSES! Second day is the best day for Ramses.
i would like ramses or patrick turner somewere in day 2 imo that would be the better route to go. that way we can focus on defense with day one picks

Yeah i hope they do trade down if no one spectacular is available with our 1st rounder. If we can get 2 seconds and a third for a first rounder. Id do it in a heartbeat!

 I have been loving the idea of trading down since the season ended. I think we should pile up as many first day picks as possible. I think we could pick up some great Linebacker and Cornerback talent in the second and third round.

Although I think we may take a WR in round 2... I agree that we dont have to. What we need is a reall route runner and posetion reciever so that Ginn can free up down the field. It my hope that we can draft 4 starters on D (by the end of the season) so that we can set ourselves up to compete for (and win) the SB next year in Miami...

I disagree. We can have the best defense, but the offenses we face will require us to score more points than last year. IMO Miami HAS TO draft a WR in round 1 or 2.

Wow, obviously you have never seen Hakeem Nicks play because he looks pretty damn special to me and quite a few other members of this board. I will literally be doing drunken cart wheels out in my yard if we draft him.

I do agree on the WR thing. I've been saying it since talk about the draft started and, nothing's happened to make me second guess myself since.

Nicks is not that special

He's above average at best....yes he has good hands so does 2/3 of the wideouts who will never make it to the pro's ....and my great aunt! I was born in Mississippi and I had a chance to see Jerry rice play every week, he had hands, speed ( not a burner, but game speed) and he ran routes like his life depended on it. I know it's unfair to compare Hakeem nicks to the best ever...but I did the same thing with ronnie brown and walter payton...ronnie had the IT factor in college and we are seeing it here in the pro's. I've watch Nicks and there is NO wow factor....Yes he's good But Wow.....NO WAY. Special reciever teams fight to get them....and by far the only two recievers I see that have the it factor is Crabtree and macklin. This is of course not a science just my opinion.....I hope the allows us to contine to get physical with a LB, CB, DE in the first two rounds. What do you guys thing?
